O briens sandwiches is located in georges court in waterford. They offer a good selection of coffee and also food . The shambo is very good and i think it is value for money. You have a good choice of coffee to pick from and a coffee and a shambo is a very good snack. They also do milkshakes which are very good and also serve iced drinks which are very good on a hot summers day.... Read more...

This particular O'Briens is very nice. The last time we were in Waterford we dropped in to have a bite to eat as the weather was not great and it was nice to get in out of the rain to enjoy one of their sandwiches. It is not very big and we managed to get a seat just before it filled up, several people were like us and did not want to get caught in the rain. Its ok but...

I wouldnt say there is anything wrong with O briens but I really only go in there when i have to. I never really want to go in there which isnt a good sign. The food is ok but the prices are too expensive for what you get. The shop is lovely and clean and the staff are usually friendly but the food is overpriced and dull.... Read more...

Located in heart of waterford city this is a sandwich bar. I would not think too highly of their products, I would find the bread very thick and stodgy and often the fillers are very sparse!Crisps like cardboard!! Seating is not great. O'Briens sandwich bar is a little bit expensive for what you get, the more fillings you have the dearer it is. In theory the chain of O'Briens was a good idea but it never really took off to its full potential. It is very clean here though and the staff are friendly. Some of the franchises the staff an be very hit & miss but not here.... Read more...
