The Orchard has been there for as long as i can remember! I used to go here in my primary school days to get a few 10p bags!!! The staff are really nice, and i still go in there to get sweets!!! I remember the staff used to HATE the kids coming into the shop! Looking back now i dont really blame them as there was easily 20 kids going in at once to this tiny little shop!! They sell your general convenience store stuff. Its definitly a part of ranelagh and i hope it stays there for many... Read more...

I have been here many times for lunch. The staff here are really nice and friendly. The food is good too and the prices are reasonable. I am always happy with the food here. And the service is quick too so great for an office lunch! ... Read more...

Where can one begin? The Orchard is holy ground for any Ranelagh school goer. Here is where those clad in uniforms of bottle green and turbulent grey can fish the coppers and lint out of their pockets, thrust them on the counter triumphantly and receive more penny sweets than good sense advises in return. Its charm lies in the fact that it never succumbed to the supermarket-esque style of the modern corner shop. The Orchard remains a miniscule hole-in-the-wall where the lucky 5 that can fit in...
