Pablo Picante is by far the best Mexican to come to Ireland since Captain Reuben Ocana made an emergency landing into Mallow in 1983 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxfF-IkibjI – hilarious BTW) It is my new favourite lunch time spot! Pablo’s is an enchanting Mexican take away on the corner of Pembroke St and Baggot Street. With the alluring smells of spices oozing out of the kitchen and the eager queue leading out the door, you can’t possibly walk by this place! The menu... Read more...

Im rarely eat Mexican food, i can't even think of any Mexican restaurants off hand. We were coming off Leeson St when a friend suggested we go here for a change. I would have liked to sit down here but there were no available seats. I had the San Diego and my firend choose the Slim one. We took our burritos and went down to the park in St Stephens Green. The burrito was really good and ill be back for sure.... Read more...

Beefy burritos!

(19 July 2010)

After hearing rave reviews about this place, I finally had the opportunity to try this place for myself. I went for the Classico (mmm, sirloin steak!) with extra sour cream (I'm a bit of a whimp when it comes to heat) and it was just delicious. There were 4 of us that went, and we all really enjoyed our burritos (there are a few stools so you can eat there and then if not busy). Hubby wanted another straight away, but for your normal person, one is definitely enough! We ate around 4 and I... Read more...

Best Burrito in Dublin

(05 July 2010)

Report

I went here on Friday because one of my friends works in Merrion Square. She told me that this was the closest thing I would get to my version of an American burrito and she was right. It was so delicious! I could have eaten two if they weren't the size of a meal for lunch and dinner. From the time I ordered and opened my soda my burrito was ready. I took it and it was super hot so I knew it was kept right. The shop is tiny, but that doesn't even matter because of how good these burritos are.... Read more...

Having come across Pablo Picante through their Facebook campaign (nearly 1000 fans before they even opened) I was keen to try their wares. I had already had my lunch today but was still starving... so thought that a good burrito would plug the hole that might normally have been plugged with a bar of chocolate... Pablo Picante sells burritos - didnt see much else on the menu to be honest but I wasn't really looking... As good a burrito as you will get anywhere outside Mexico would be my take on...
