Past Times

Past Times is a beautiful little store on Wicklow Street. There's lots of lovely little things in here. There's really quirky jewellery in here, lots of shiny pretty vintage things. There's old-fashioned books and retro games and jukeboxes and the like. The prices are fair, the staff are really really friendly and even if you don't find anything in here, you'll have a great time browsing the retro wonderment. ... Read more...

I love going into this shop to browse. They have lovely unusual things. Its is a bit "british" but they do have some nice vintage/retro type items for the home & garden & some nice jewellery too. I got a nice windchime and a bird feeder here along with some lovely art deco jewellery. They have lovely stuff at christmas - lovely lights and snowglobes. Its a really good place to come for a gift.... Read more...

Great place to visit like an Aladdin's cave

To be honest I have been up and down this street so many times and just passed by this unique little shop. A few years ago a friend gave me a Gift Token for Christmas from this shop so it was therefore time I went inside for a look around to see what I could treat myself to. I almost kicked myself for not going in long before then. It could have saved me so much stress and hassle to find unique things for several family members and friends who seem to have everything and are totally... Read more...

Great gifts!

I picked up loads of bits and bobs in here for Christmas gifts last year. It's a small enough shop, I'd passed it a hundred times before I actually went in. I've got a few friends and relatives who are quite difficult to buy for as they're either very fussy or just seem to have everything! They had some adorable Bagpuss toys and ornaments, and loads of Wizard Of Oz merchandise - mugs, tea towels, etc, I have a friend who's obsessed with it so it was a great find! They also had other bits like... Read more...

A friend had told us about Govindas and how good it was. We also had several recommendations from family members some are vegetarians, that the food was excellent. The restaurant is fairly basic but we liked that, and not being vegetarians were not to sure of what to expect. Well we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table immediately. The food was very tasty and good sized portions, the food was nicely spiced, and everything tasted and looked fresh and their price for what we... Read more...

Favourite Shop

This has to be one of my favourite shops to browse in. I love the jewelery they stock here and also the picture frames. It is the type of shop I could wander around for ages. The staff are always extremely friendly and leave you alone to browse to you hearts content. They also have fantastic sales. I have never gone into this shop and not bought something - even if it is only something like a little notepad for my handbag. I love the little trinkets they have and always head into this shop... I like this shop as I think it offers some nice gift ideas especially for mothers day. The stuff is pretty quirky and unusual and most are a step back in time. Some items are very reasonably prices while others are very expensive. They offer items such as jewellery boxes (bought one for mum for mothers day she loved it) books, mirrors, vases, ornaments, jewellery and lots more.... Read more...

My sister introduced me to this shop a few years back when we were looking for a present for the parents, it is definitely the perfect shop to get such a gift.Whenever I walk past this shop I have to go in it. It has such sweet things. From jewellrey, to stationary to garden ornaments to house pieces. They also have some great sales on. Definitely worth a visit when you are stuck for a gift. ... Lovely unique gifts for everyone. The shop itself is like stepping back in time. Quite a small shop and with all the stock and people browsing can be a little difficult to view what you might be interested in. It is well worth a visit to get the feel of this marvellous shop with all it different stock, jewellery, toys, books and lovely trinkets. I especially love their Organisers especially the one I chose the Erte Balcony, so handy for keeping friends names and addresses etc. so pretty and a joy... Read more...

Past times a good place to get a few presents for the girlfriend she loves everything in the shop, and I have picked up a few things for my mam and dad and the odd item for myself. They have lots of costume old style Victorian jewellery, books, old Christmas cards, ornaments, books, clothes, gardening items and loads more. I have to admit some of the things are fantastic, but pricey. They have items for men and women. It's very popular and the staff are nice. Certainly different and if you want... Read more...

Great for gifts

On many occasions I've been at the end of my tether while looking for gifts - usually for older female relatives. This is a great shop for ideas and to pick up something nice or unusual. As the name suggests, it has a lot of gifts with a 'nostalgia' theme, although a lot of them are clearly geared towards a British audience, which isn't very clever - they're usually the items that are heavily reduced. Prices are quite reasonable and the staff are friendly. They also have a nice range of vintage... Read more...

I find this is a great little shop to pick up little stocking fillers and gifts fro Christmas. It is a good place to buy a Chris-kindle present also as they do some jokey fun items. They have a nice collection of jewellery which is very reasonable. I bought my Gran a brooch here it was very cheap and she loved it. (it looked more expensive than what it was). I also got a beautiful snow globe here last yeart everyone admired it.... Read more...
