I love Penneys and shop there every week just to browse around because some of their clothes are very cheap but have nice designs and I can nearly always get something to wear. They have lovely shoes from flats to high heels, when they get their new stock in you have to be quick as if the stuff is really pretty then they sell fast and I mean fast....bras, swimwear and sleep wear are cheap but sometimes they don't wash to good. Saving your Pennys!

Great selection of clothes for all ages.Pennys also so the thermal layering clothes during the winter months.good selection of shoes too and usually carry many different colours of the same style so you can match your outfit easier.Love the christmas decorations they do.They also so a brill mutlipack of kids brithday carsd 8 for E1.50 plus rolls of brthday paper. The homewares section have fab curtains though usually tab top and cushions.... Read more...

This is one of the two branches of Penneys in Galway, its only a fraction of the size of the one in the Eyre Square shopping center, but it fills a gap nonetheless. I'm rating it good, as they seem to have done a bit of a renovation in here in recent times - at least its now easy to spot the checkout when you're inside. The customer service people are quite good at their job and I find them helpful. There are often good discounts on goods here, even though you would come out with bags full... Read more...

The Penneys branch Headford Road Shopping centre is not as big as other Pennys stores. It can sometimes be quite untidy. I also find that it can smell a bit musty, which is off-putting. I am of the opinion that they do not stock the same range of clothes as the larger stores, but maybe this is because they do not have enough space instore. Not a bad shop but for choice and range, I would prefer the one in the Eyre Square Shopping Centre... Read more...

Pennys!!

My husband and I were in Pennys in the Headford Road shopping centre on sunday. Fabulous shop with so many things to buy which are both fashionable and easy on the pocket. The shop was very busy at the time and maybe this is why it could have done with a little bit of a tidying up just to rearrange the stock. Always the place for a bargain

Love Penneys and the bargains you pick up there. I know some people may complain about it often being untidy but it is not the fault of either the staff or the shop. If you take the time to stand and look around you then you will see the customers acting like vultures pulling and grabbing items off the rails and if they decide they don't want them they just half heartedly hang them back or maybe even just put them over the rail and not back on the hanger as a result of which they end up... Great bargains but it is a very cluttered store, love going in as they always have a bargain rail just at the entrance- if things weren't cheap enough. Would recommend a look and you'lll be surprised by what you'll find... Read more...

Eyre Square is way better

Its good value for money as its Penneys, but Eyre Square is much better. Its very messy when you go in the door. There used to be a musty sort of smell in it, but seems to have lifted a little in recent times. The tills have moved over to the right of the shop and makes it seem more organised. Its just still a bit drab, but maybe thats due to its depressing location. Also, I have noted that items that may be reduced in the town branch are often on sale for the full price here. I like this pennys, although the selection is not as good as the other bigger pennys. The shop is smaller than the one in city centre but all the same you can get what you need and be in and out. The queue for dressing rooms and tills moves quickly. Shop is clean and well laid out. Kids section is good can get both boys and girls stuff. Love shopping in Penny's in Headford Road. Occassionally I've had to exchange items (sometimes without a receipt) & I've always managed to do so without issue. I find they have a great selection & the staff are always willing & helpful. The shelves always look neat & tidy so thumbs up to the staff for their efforts.
