Penneys Waterford is located just off Red Square which is very confinient as it is within walking distance to several car parks and other main shops. Since the opening of the new Penneys I think the quality and variety of clothes have improved. It has everything under one roof - women's, men's and children's fashion including shoes and also homeware. I could easily spend over an hour browsing in this store. The old layout at pennys was great with the mens section just inside the door but the new store is a great improvement on the old but now the mens section is upstairs. the new layout is great as they seem to stock more items for men compared to before. The quality of the items is still first call and the prices are justt as good. The quality of the items is about the same as you would pay double for in other shops in Waterford so it is awlays woth a visit to Pennys .... Read more...

Great for Bargains

I love shopping in Penny's. What can I say, layout is great, can be a little confusing the first time you go in there, but as with all stores there are plenty of stores telling you where to go. The lift is small enough esp if there is a second person waiting with a buggy. I like the way that they have the underwear and PJ's hidden down the back, not in your face. I got absolutely soaked and was delighted that there was a Penneys in Waterford. Needed an umbrella and while I was there picked up a few clothes. It is large and looked like they had just got in a load of new stock. Everything was all up to date and the colours and some of styles were very good. Red is my favourite colour and they had lots of red clothes in stock. You cannot go wrong with Penneys, their prices are very good. Great for household products, underwear, shoes and clothes. ... i love the new store, its so much bigger now and there are way more options available. the choice of the whole family is great, from myself, to himself and kids wear. the homewear is brilliant too. i love all the options available and the prices are amazing. my only down side is the kinda middle floor where the shoes and customer services isnt always available by the wheelchair lift and as most of the time i am in pennys i have a buggy i find this kinda annoying. ... Pennys ahs something for everyone, there clothes are cheap and chearful. The only thing with buying pennys clothes is that you go out on a night out and everyone is dressed the same. Great place to go to pick up bargains for everyone. They do a great range of childrens wear and also of bed linnen and pyjamas. Its always packed out with crouds of people trying to get themselves a bargain. Always nice and clean and staff are plentyful and no big cues at the tills... Read more...

I absolutely love penney's!! from nightwear to daywear,lazy wear to outwear,kids clothes,mens clothes shoes,homewear!! its the one place i go to if i need something new or just want to treat myself to something new! This is a great store with plenty of bargains for everyone! It is always stocked well and always looks clean and tidy and is spacious. The queues, albeit always long move very quickly. To exchange an item is very easy also. The only down point is that the lift to go up to the shoes/dressing rooms/ customer services has been broken for quite a while and its sometimes a pain having to bother staff to bring you upstairs but in saying that the staff are always happy to help!... this is a good penneys, since they done it up before that it was abysmal. now it has plenty well organised stock. i find waterford a quieter town to shop in cmpared to dublin or cork so its alot more chilled out and you dont get trampled by crazed shoppers! the staff are sound. they could have better kids clothes here tho and underwear too. but its a good one since they done it up.... Great selection of stuff now. I agree the Homewares could be much bigger and hopefully with the purchase of the hotel next door, this is set to develop. I got some great girls' clothes there reduced during the week but the boys' wear wasn't reduced. Kind of strange? Definitely need more floor staff keeping areas tidier. Customers less likely to haul t-shirts out and just throw them back when someone working next to them! Overall, a hallmark store with great potential to increase their target... Read more...

What a fantastic job Pennys has done on the refit in Waterford. The layout is fantastic. I could spend an hour in there browsing around. The shop is really bright and well organised and you really want to shop when you get in there. I think 9 times out of ten when i go in there i will come out with something. I 'd love if thery had a bigger homewares section as the stuff id great. Loads of staff working there so no delays when you go to the till. Well done pennys!... Read more...

Pennys is my favourite shop ever. The new one in waterford is out of this world.. Way better selection than the old one. Great bargains and amazing clothes. was actually in here the other day and i spend way more than i could afford but there is nothing better than retail therapy and at such bargains you cant exactly go wrong.
