great stylist

The Peter Marks in Dundrum Town Centre which is located on the second level in unit 2 has some good hairdressers that listen to what you want and give a great cut. Great for having your hair cut, blow dry, colour and perms etc. Their staff are all highly trained and when you get a stylist that knows your hair and styles it the way you want it its hard to leave them. This is a really good salon and having had my hair cut by one particular stylist in another salon I have followed him to Dundrum.... Read more...

Now I hate going to the haridressers and I find they never really listen to you but made an appointment with Susan following a recommendation from a friend and I have to say I left happy. Not ecstatic now, but happy. Felt that she did listen to me and my hair is how I wanted it. The only reason I haven't given more * is because I thought the blow dry could have been better - I would have done a better job myself. Also, it was still ever so slightly damp as I left. I never write reviews but this has to be put out there to stop people getting treated the way I was. I always look forward to a hair cut and the experience should be quite pain free if you aren't the fussiest. Peter Marks in Dundrum SC made me feel really uncomfortable and lectured me on the condition of my hair like i was a child, my hair isn't even that bad! I am open to lots of constructive criticism however it was far more a teacher student approach which left me feeling completely... Read more...

was all set to get my hair done here last october for my debs, it was a special day and wanted it done nicely, i was only told two days before my appointment that i had been double booked and that there was nobody available to do my hair till later in the day which was too late, also there prices are outrageous. i will never go back here again, they are no better than any other hairdresser, and just because its called pater marks doesnt give them a right to rip us off. ... Peter Mark in Dundrum Shopping Centre is far too pricey and have some unpleasant staff. They are doing a 20% promotion at the moment for cut and colour but this is a total scam as they basically do less colour so you have to return a 4 weeks later to get a top up. Avoid Michelle she is just on the make. I am a rare breed of woman that has actually only been to a hairdressers twice in my life. I can hear you all gasp in disbelief but hear me out- my sister is a hairdresser and has done my hair forever. Good if you know who's doing your hair, after many wrong cuts and colours and a few dodgy looks but I finally got it right - "Blond Sarah" does my colour - she's very good and Karen always blow dries my hair. Everyone always loves my hair when I leave Karen although the last few times I asked her to just do really loose curls but yet I came out with the ringlet effect and had to put my hands through it myself and pull them apart - I think its time I gave someone else a try for a fresh...
