Lovely Building.

This building used to be the home of Richard Wingfield 3rd viscount of Powerscourt 1730 to 1788. A lovely building with a glass roof. You can sit in the restaurant in the centre beneath the glass roof or have something stronger in the bar at the back. When we were there, there was an incredible smell coming from the toilets on the ground floor. I don't know how anyone could sit anywhere near them especially in the bar and have something to eat. Terribly off putting. On the first floor there is... Read more...

Incredible

I love the Powerscout Centre, both the interior and the exterior of the centre is incredible. It's especially stunning at Christmas when it's elegantly decorated. The shops in here are pricey, and a lot of the time I'm fully aware that I don't have enough money to even consider buying anything in here, but it's certainly worth a look. There's a good vegetarian restaurant on the top floor, but my favourite shop in the whole centre is definitely All Saints. I'd also recommend looking at The Loft... Read more...

Powerscourt Towncentre

Powerscourt centre is located in a Georgian Building and located just off Grafton Street. It is a slightly different shopping experience. I think it is quite a unique place to shop, with cafes, fashion shops, antiques and interiors and plants and flowers. It has many different tenants and some shops have come and gone and others lasting the test of time. Beautiful outside and the interior can be quite breathtaking and is Christmas is an excellent time to shop there, with its decoration and... Read more...

I love the Powerscourt Centre. It almost gives you a serene feeling when you walk in. The coffee shop/restaurant in the middle of it is so warm and inviting - especially on a bright day with the sun shining through the roof. Great selection of places to eat here and some lovely shops. However the last day I was in it I was sad to see so many empty shops. Sign of the times I suppose but was disappointing. I love the old world feeling of this centre. Its a little step away from the rushing of... Read more...

Something about this shopping centre brings me back to my childhood. I love shopping here with the natural light when its sunny and i love the little food stalls that they have, especially Johnnys Cupcakes. The clothes shops are great and it has such a chilled out vibe here. You could literally walk around for hours and not notice! Nowhere else has such a reat atmospherefor a shopping centre, it's a nice change from how busy and electric Dundrum can be.... Read more...

A Must See

This really is one of the shopping centres that makes Dublin stand out as a must see shopping capital, especially on Saturdays when the Loft is open. They have a real good variety of things in her, and the only chain stores that they have are all saints and french connection which is more than ok with me! The range of places to eat in here as well is unparalleled, they literally have anything you could think of, even a complete vegetarian restaurant! amazing, a must see!... Read more...

If you are visiting Dublin I would recommend just popping in there to nose around a bit. It's a lovely shopping centre. The layout and indeed the whole building is so different from the normal shopping centres that you will be surprised. The atmosphere in their is great. Personally I have never been in their to shop. While the shops are lovely I find them a bit on the pricey side. It's lovely though to just pop in and maybe grab a bite to eat there. ... Read more...

This is so much nicer than the soulless huge shopping centres that have been springing up in recent years. The building itself is so great that I always tell visitors to Dublin to at least walk through it to take a look. It has a great selection of speciality shops, such as antique jewellery shops and the fantastic Rubenesque ribbon shop. It's also one of the best destinations in town for lunch if you can't decide what you want. There are a number of restaurants and cafes, from Mimo to Blazing... Read more...

I have to say I love the Powerscourt Centre. Its a fabulous collection of shops and restaurants set in a magnificent Georgian townhouse. The Pygmalion bar at the side is also a nice spot to have a drink in. Its also home to Cafe Fresh and Terrazzo Italia which are both great lunchspots. There's also a few antique shops and galleries which are worth a browse. One of the more classier spots in Dublin.... Read more...

This is a lovely shopping area. The building is very old and nice. There is a lovely area downstairs where you can have a bite to eat and forget for awhile that you are in the centre of Dublin. There is a lovely vintage shop here Covet. lt stocks exclusive pieces for leading designers many of which are available to rent. A fab shop and well worth visiting. l had lunch in the Mimo restaurant, and was hugely impressed, the food was delicious.... Read more...
