Inconsistent - to me, anyway.

I've had indifference with this establishment on a whole. I'd like to think the quality is good, but a Lamb Khorgali I had recently seemed to me a little bit off. Maybe it was my palate at this particular juncture but I'm pretty sure it just wasn't a wonderfully served dish that particular evening. A mixed grill on a prior night was put out perfectly and tasted really nice - if even a little bit dry. I'm hoping for a bit of consistency with this place soon. Every time I order my opinions... Great Indian

Dublin is so full of mediocre Indian restaurants which serve dishes of curry literally swimming in oil that this place is a real find. It's in a great location in Ranelagh Village, about 30 seconds walk from the Ranelagh Luas Stop. This used to be too expensive to come here frequently but they've recently dropped their prices. Punjab Balti Indian Restaurant and Takeaway have been serving authentic Indian food in Dublin for over 14 years..so they know a trick or two, and will please even the most discerning Dub...if there is such a thing ;) Right up until the end of the year, from Sunday to Thursday, they are doing a meal deal, which includes a starter, main course with rice or naan and a glass of wine for only €14.95! We have been put off ordering an Indian takeaway for a while now as most highly disappoint, but we came across this place online and thought it was worth a go - especially as they have free delivery at the mo!! Personally, think I'd just go back for the Peshwari nan - so so so yummy but all round the meal was great. Delivery time a little over what they stated but what can you expect for saturday night! Most Fantastic Meal!!!

We had the most fantastic meal with our friends yesterday - they asked for the best Indian Restaurant we knew and having been to a party here in the summer we were determined to return - and weren't disappointed! The staff went out of their way to meet the needs of the customers. The Punjab Balti. This is one of the first in Ireland I recall so when it opened up it was something special. There are now plenty others and these guys have had to start to resond - by dropping their prices! There are a few things you cannot go wrong with - Tikka Masala, poppodoms and naan bread. Hurrah - Another Good Indian

Finding another good indian restaurant is now my new favourite past time! I've only ordered take out from this place so can't comment on sitting in but the take out: Ummm Ummm!! The starters are much smaller (and slightly more expensive) than most places I frequent but they're totally worth it. So far the veg samosa is my favourite!
