I too had high expectations when I ventured to dine at Rasam. The modest facade on Glasthule Road belied the enchanting décor - surely one of a kind in Dublin. Service was polite as polite can be. We went for the early bird - a dire catastrophe it certainly was not. A starter of chicken marinated in an earthy mix of spices was lovely. The chicken was pink which was off-putting to the eye and the sauce was very buttery and swimming in grease. The slow cooked lamb wasn't much better. It was tough and fatty and sauce tasted like 3 year old perfume. To make matters... Read more...
