I have eaten here on a few occasions and i can only compliment the place. each time i had a delicious meal and could find no fault with anything. the food is all freshly prepared and it is delicious. the staff are excellent and they provide good assistance and advice on the menu options. i always choose the steak option which is always superb. the food is quite expensive but the quality is so good.... I was given a vouchers as a gift for Patrick Guilbaud in The Merrion Hotel. The restaurant was decorated really nice with some lovely art work on the walls. I have only been here twice, once in the summer when we sat outside and it was really lovely. The staff right from start are all very nice and the service was excellent. The cutlery, linen and the glasses were gleaming. The food was really nice and the wine excellent. It was fairly full at lunch time when we were there. This restaurant... Read more...

This is not just a'restaurant experience', but also a lingering, lasting, wondrful memory! Went yesterday with my wife with a giftvoucher for the 3 course set lunch with 2 glasses of champagne and a bottle of wine. Service is immaculate and faultless, staff ever attentive.Patrick G himself visited our table twice to chat and check that everything was fine (well, it was superb in the extreme).Lovely front of house staff and maitre d'; attentive waiting staff, knowlegeable sommelier. 3... very pricey on the same edge as some of the more expensive resturants in the city but really worth a treat to visit in here. i had the cloghar head lobster raviollli which was forty euro and followed up with a chocolate fondant which was twenty four euro. so when a few are at the table it really does clock up quite a bill, but for the quality of the food i would return here again.... so fancy

This place has more Michelin stars than any restaurant in Ireland and deservedly so. Sharing a building with the Merrion Hotel, this restaurant is an exercise in class and elegance. From the crisp linen tablecloths to the immaculate waitstaff and prompt exceptional service to the unique, delicious, gourmet fare, Patrick Guibaud is well worth the price. One of the most expensive Dublin restaurants, it serves up French food, steaks, lobsters, and even more simple but delicious treats like soup. I... Read more...

We went here for my mothers birthday as a special treat and my god was it fancy. I felt a little out of place in my ugg boots but hey they're comfy. The food was out of this world though and was like something out of masterchief. I was actually afraid to eat my food as it was so beautifully presented. I couldnt believe how dear it was though at the end but its true you pay handsomly for great food. Is it sloth when you enjoy it so much??... Read more...

Ireland answer to 2 Michelin stars, have eaten here twice in as many months and this place is just pure orgasmic, the quality and execution of the food is unbelievable, can't wait for my next treat in this wonderful temple of gastronomy! The service is impeccable, not intrusive but always on hand. Nice touches such as changing your napkin if you go to the toilet. We had the set menu and topped it off with two bottles of wine. An expensive lunch but worth it for those few occasions you want to... Read more...
