There are plenty of places to go for post pu/nightclub food in and around the Dame Street area but Ricks is my number one choice. Its really small, decor is really tacky and most of the punters are out of their minds, but... the food is exactly what you need at 3 in the morning - tasty and filling, it definitely hits the spot! A drunken guilty pleasure..

In the sober light of day I stroll past Ricks and there is absolutely nothing that I would find appetising about it. However, at midnight after a full days drinking Ricks always provides a really unhealthy, yet deliciously tasty drunken supper. Affordable prices and friendly staff add to the experience. Yes this is a very tasty burger but i wouldnt go as far as to say the best in dublin. But i would certainly agree with the consenus that if you are on the town after a few beers than Rick's provides a formidable burger eatery that should not be judged because it looks like a kip. Its locatde just opposite cetral bank on the corner of georges street and dame street. Also its not over priced as a lot of place become once thety get a little but popular. Late Night Snack

This is a great place to go for a late night snack! The location is perfect, being right in the city center you cannot help but pass it when you are out. The outside of the building is deceiving, because it appears a little sketchy and run down, but the food definitely makes up for it! I have no idea how they cook their food to make it taste so great, but no matter how they do it I cannot complain! Down with sober dining

Ricks is my choice for after-drinks dining. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and it looks worse from the inside, but it just tastes so damn good that you have to forgive the decor and the grease residue that's built up on the outside air vent. I've never been happier after a night on the tiles then when I'm in Ricks. I can't say I go there for their burgers. I'm more of a chicken wing woman myself. This is a great spot for a burger that not many people know about. Yes its very decieving from the outside dont let that put you off though. Ah, this will serve as a refreshing counterpoint to the very negative review that I just wrote for Bobo's. Rick's is what burgers are supposed to be all about. I have to agree with Joanna in that Rick's is not the most appetizing looking of eateries (it's kind of manky looking from outside) but this is deceptive, as Rick's do the best burgers in Dublin.
