great for going out clothes

this is one of the best river islands i have been in. its bigger than the dublin ones so they carry more stock. i was in my element in here as there are loads of changing rooms and they are really comfy. staff are always on hand to get you sizes should you need any. they also have some great bags here. it was easy to spend a small fortune. the staff are really nice and very quick on the tills so your not left waiting ages to pay. brilliant shop.... I always bought in the old River Island on Patick Street and always found it to very trendy clothes for men. The mens section is located upstairs and they stock a great selection of everything from jeans to t-shirts to jumpers etc... River Island is a bit more expensive but i like the quality and look of their clothes. But now that the new store is in opera lane and is much bigger i guess this store won't stay open for too much longer. ... Read more...

i love love love river island!! it's one of the only places im guaranteed to find a decent fitting pair of jeans. their always bang up to date with their trends and they have more toned down versions for those who like more casual clothes. the shoes and bags r just DIVINE!!!i always make sure my card is ready to be flexed when i go to river island..its a shop that won't disappoint!!... River Island is one if my fave shop so I felt like I was in heaven the first day I went to this shop in Opera lane 3 Floors you could spend ages in there. Lots of variety for all tastes lovely going out tops staff are great I had to return jeans and there was no problem they couldnt have been more helpful to find my desired Jeans also the prices seem to be after getting very affordable which can only entice a girl to call there more often. ... New Store is a winner

I always considered the cork city River Island to be fairly small for such a big city but the new store located in Opera land is unbelievable. It is huge the biggest River Island I have been in. I think it has 3 floors. I always use the changing rooms on the bottom floor as its where all the shoes/bit and bobs are located and not many people around.I have always loved River Island but I'm an even bigger fan now with the huge selection of clothes on offer. Good Selection - New Shop

This shop has just moved across the street to the new Opera Lane shopping area. It's now one of the best shops in Cork. The new shop is beautiful and the fixtures are top notch. It really feels good to go inside this shop and look at all the beautiful merchandise. The staff too are very friendly without being too pushy.
