good variety of topics

I came across this site by accident. I had googled reviews for a products that I was thinking of buying and this site came up and there good forum section. The site is very good coverning several different topics both for parents as well as many other topics. Any way I read several reviews and recommendations for this product and ended up staying a wandering through the site and read several of the discussion forums, this has a long list of titles. Parenting website

This is a parenting website for Irish parents especially mummies.There's a lot of good discussion here.However,since it changed to a new layout,I hardly came here as I don't really used to the new design.I became addicted to another parenting forum.This place still good.You can chat,discussed and get other's opinion about anything especially the parenting world.There'a always competitions here but sadly I never win. :(... I'm sorry to say that Rollercoaster isn't what it used to be, at one point it was the best parenting site with fantastic posters, interesting topics and adult debate, easy to follow rules and a wealth of information. There are many topic boards on the site, each one offering different discussions, however over the years the amount of topic boards has increased but posters don't stick to the correct board for their topic instead they post willy nilly and clog up one particular board. I'm afraid I have to agree with those of you who have posted negative comments about this site. I used to find it an excellent resource, with mature debates, plenty of humour and lots of support for posters experiencing difficult times. Unfortunately the calibre of poster has changed considerably. There is such snideness and nastiness, and downright bullying. It isn't somewhere I would want to waste my time any more, quite frankly. I joined this site years ago and was addicted to it, I enjoyed the craic, the helpfulness of posters and made some friends from it. However in the last year it's lost it's appeal for me in particular in the last 2 to 3 months. The sneaky underhand plotting by a certain clique that are still there, the passive aggressive posts and the two-faced carry-on of them is not my cup of tea. There are 3 groups of posters using this site: the ones who sit quietly in the corner playing word games most suited for a 9/10yro , the ones who resort to telling other posters to F off (I kid you not) and the ones who question the management and ask them to bring about more structured and non biased moderation. Has lost that loving feeling

I posted on RC for years and loved this site for laughs, for advise, to pass a long lonely evening when the kids were in bed and my husband was in work. Over the last couple of months my feelings for RC have changed, its not the internet forum I joined 6 years ago. The posters have changed, the trolling has become unreal, the fun and sparkle has left. I actually went as far as to request that my account be deleted and my posts removed. Rollercoaster - great resource for parents!

This is an excellent site. I mainly have been using the childcare section. It allows parents to post an ad for free and provides a personal account where interested childminders can respond privately. I have already found 2 excellent childminders using this site over the last 2 years. They also have useful forums - great for first hand advice from other parents!... Read more...

Great resource for parents

Rollercoaster.is is an invaluable resource for parents and even mums to be. The site itself is very easy to navigate and there is a great sense of community spirit there. They cover a wide range of topics and issues and there's always someone at hand to dish out advise or just some support or a sympathetic ear to listen. Best Parenting website

this has to be the best parenting website out there. It has everything from trying to conceive, pregnancy, to labour to raising your child. there is also a section on it for classified ads, with for sales items to items wanted. This is just the best website for parenting i have ever come across, the website is very clear, very fast, a vast amount of information, the discussions board is brilliant i love going on every day to see news and find out where the latest bargains are. At least on this website your never alone whatever it is as a parent that is bothering you there is always someone to give you advice or others going through the same as yourself. I absolutely love Rollercoaster - its an absolutely brilliant parenting resource, particularly the discussion forums, where you can talk anonymously (sp?) to other people in the same situation as you, and can get opinions and advice from many different people, on all sorts of subjects.
