We were entertaining 30+ adults and children, family and inlaws so it had to be good. We got a buffet spread which was delicious - the salads are excellent, particularly the potato salad. I like the baked ham and get it there regularly. But the thing everyone liked best was the meringue roulade with raspberries, it was so nice there was none left for me..... :-( ... Read more...

You have not lived until you have tried the sponge cake at Rowans, Rathfarnham. It is really beautiful. The best of its kind around. Apart from this amazing cake, Rowans is a great place for great quality specialty food. It is convenience high quality food, with the like a pre-cooked beef strganof etc...
