first impressions

I went down for a drink on a Sunday night and wasn't overly impressed. I didn't like the layout and the seating is a bit odd and uncomfortable. The main drawback was the lack of atmosphere - it looks like a sports bar but doesn't feel like one. It was a bit pricey too and I haven't felt the urge to return for drinks. I would like to go down for food sometime though and give it another chance at which point I will re-review.Hopefully it'll get better with time coz it has potential.... Read more...

The New Pub in Town

This place opened just a few months before Christmas just gone and has provided a nice alternative to the other choices in the area. It is a large spacious place, with plenty of tables. There is no smoking area leaving you standing outside the doors, with no heat and little shelter, which in Irish weather is generally not an attractive option.
