A group of friends and I went here for dinner not so long ago. We weren't waiting long before we were seated and our order was taken promptly. The food arrived soon after and we all though it was running fairly efficiently and that the service was more than competant. We soon realised though that this was solely for the purpose of moving us out and getting the next group seated as soon as they could. During our desert we were told as much. The food was nice, the service grand, too expensive for... Read more...

Probably The best Asian/Fusion restaurant in Dublin

Went here with my wife and a daughter yesterday evening, and really, really enjoyed it. We each chose the 2-course option at €15 (up to 6pm, around €19 for 3 courses) and it was absolutely deliciousand substantial. I had duck spring rolls to start -served in a basket , and there were 5 of them , a good size each with an accompanying sauce; I then had a mild prawn curry -scrumptious!My family companions were equally pleased with their selections. My daughter had opted for a chocolate... Early specials here are great value. I learnt that "Saba" Means "happy meeting place" in Thai. Apt name. I enjoyed the food, especially the choices with vietnamese influences. It's open late which is great so you will not turfed out the door at ten!... Read more...

Saba is a fine restaurant with a great buzz of an atmosphere, though it can tend to get quite busy, they offer set times for seatings, so be sure to book. Good place to go with a large group and order different dishes so you can try as much of the menu, which is very extensive. The food is excellent and I haven’t been disappointed yet And the fantastic well priced cocktails are an absolute must!... Read more...

This place looks great with a really great ambience. The staff are very friendly and professional, although we couldn't get much craic out of them. The food is very nice and seems good value but you'll need a few courses to fill you up. Great for most occasions - large or small groups of friends, dates, etc.. Their website is great and is very handy when organising a for group. They've got a great bar with all sorts of drinks and cocktails. Not my favourite Thai restaurant in Dublin but... Read more...

I went here for a big work lunch with a large group. Not sure what all the hype is about. I know that when there's a big group, the quality can suffer, trying to get out 20 meals at the same time puts them under pressure so maybe I didn't get the full experience. Nice decor but the wooden benches and long tables can be a bit uncomfortable. Food is modern asian/thai food and they've a good cocktail menu. As part of our lunch deal we got platters of starters which was nice as you got to try a few... Read more...

I came here for lunch to catch up with a friend. They had a great lunch deal - 15.95 for a starter and main course. I got the sweet potato and corn fritters which were lovely. For main course, I got the butternut squash yellow curry which was delicious, but couldn't finish it because the portions are big and after a starter, it is hard to fit in the main course. The service was brilliant and the place is very tastefully decorated. Would definitely recommend and will be going there a lot myself!... Read more...
