Nice and Relaxed!

This branch of Starbucks is nice and cosy, with lots of relaxing seats and armchairs to unwind after a day full of shopping in this shopping centre. It is a little expensive, but it's kind of a novelty to go here once in a while. Snacks here are divine, including the cakes, brownies and sandwiches. My favourite drink here is chocolate frappacino but when its cold, the cappucinos are gorgeous! Staff are pleasant too.... Read more...

i have to admit that when i forst heard starbucks was coming to ireland i was very apprhensive about it, american consumerism and all that!but when i stepped in saw it for what it is i fell in love!the one in dundrum is fabulous, the sofas and seats are so comfortable and so easy to just settle down into and relax.the food is mouth watering as well and the drinks, my personal favourite is the caramel hot chocolate, are exquisite :) the prices aren't even that bad honestly and the sizes are very... Good specialality coffee

When in Dundrum, which is often, if I am looking for a coffee then this is where I'll go, i always get a vanilla latte and I love them, I do wish it wasn't so expensive though as it does kinda wreck it. I don't actually drink coffe that much, I'm more into my tea and I wouldn't go here for that as the price is ridiculous. I'm very pickey when it comes to coffee as I don't like overly strong cups, the starbucks one is about the only one I really like and I don't know what that says generally... Read more...

This place is just...constantly crowded. Even if you do manage to get a nice seat, it's no good because you always feel like the table next to you are sitting with you. And you feel self-conscious having a conversation. Which is a pity because starbucks is really just made for those little gossips! I love starbucks coffee but I wouldn't go regularly- they're kind of a special treat coffee. I think it's nice when they get those Christmas coffees but it's just not the same walking around a... I dont think anyone can say anything bad about Starbucks, the coffee shops are generally kitted out with comfy chairs and a homely feel and the staff are usually pleasant. The coffee itself is grand, perhaps a bit pricey and €3.00 for a small Cappucino but tasty nonetheless. Nine times out fo ten if I am looking for a cup of coffee I would be drawn to the smaller, more independent coffee places, not that the coffee is neccessarily better but the prices usually are and it is one area I... I am a fan of Starbucks- they do nice coffee and cakes and usually offer a nice comfy place to sit and chat for hours, however, I'm not a fan of their prices, but it's nice to splash out every now and again. This particular Starbucks doesn't live up to any of the other ones I've been in. It's small, stuffy and crowded and I just don't find it anywhere near as nice to actually spend time in. I don't think starbucks is a great think to HAVE in a shopping centre as half of the enjoyment of having... Read more...

What's the big deal?

My first memory of starbucks is from the Simpson's. They had a skit about a mall which only had Starbucks. A few years later and it was all the rage. Once it opened here I was curious to see what all the fuss was about, as I love my coffee. First impressions were good, big couches and a large range of coffee. Second impression killed the first. The que was ridiculous, the coffee was overpriced and just ok. The novelty wears of very fast. ... Read more...

This place is dark, cramped always packed and quite frankly an excuse of a coffee house. There is sometihng a bit dingy about it and the coffee tastes bitter and stale. There is always a queue as well, and whats with the lighting? its practically strpped. Only go in if youre desperate.my suggestion is to go to Butlers on the Ground floor. ... Read more...
