I cannot resist this TK because you can be really lucky and get a fantastic bargain. You have to have a good root around to get the good items. Good womens clothes and I find for the larger person their sizes are good. The only thing is the queue for trying on things can be long and you can be waiting a while to get in. I think this is a good shop. It has lots of brand names and cool clothes for very reasonable prices. Staff aren't great, and I dont feel they are that knowledgable. It can be hard to ind things as the shop is a bit hit and miss. You'll find ridiculous 1980s ski gear beside a brand new oakley jacket that is marked down from 300 to 90 euro. TK Maxx is a bit of an odd one in terms of shopping experiences. You can find some great stuff at some great prices, but at the cost of wading through a sea of tat (a billion bars of soap in tin cases for example), brusque staff who don't really interact with the customer and swarms of people you have to dance around to get anywhere. i really feel sometimes this place can be good and others very bad. there are good bargains to be had if you are lucky, i once got my fave ysl perfume here for half the price its worth. most of the stuff i have bought from here is junk though. the heating in here is unbearable and it makes trying on clothes horrible and sticky. the lines in here to pay are usually very long so patience is defo the key. i would go back....... Compared to TK Maxx's in other locations this is smaller but still has a large stock, it can be hit and mix depending on when they get deliveries. When going to TK Maxx go when you have time to browse through all the rails, thats how you find nice pieces but you must be willing to look and inspect. They stock houselhold items that you cant buy else where (I got a coffee maker that I havent been able to find in coffee equipment shops.) but that was after checking in there every time I passed TK... TK Maxx is one of those places you either love or hate. The reason it's so cluttered and the clothes are hung all packed together is to make you really dig and look properly for stuff, it really can be worth it though. I've picked up some fab bargains in this particular store - a perfect pair of Doc Marten boots for €35, they're €105-€130 in shops! It depends how into designer labels you are though I suppose, you can pick up something lovely and then see the price and nearly die,... Read more...

Obviously timed it badly the last time I visited TK Maxx in St Stephens Green. The place was packed and clothes were thrown everywhere. This shop is large and their range of clothes are very good and they cater for men, women and kids and their household section has a good variety of items and some incredibly good value. Women's boots and shoes are good but never manage to get my size, appears to be the most popular size. Well worth a look as they have rails upon rails of clothes.... Read more...

tk maxx is a great store for a bargain they sell men,women & childrens clothes,they also sell a lot of the brand name stuff like pefures aftershaves for a whole cheaper,if you are to visit one of their stores you won't be dissappointed,its a fairly big store to get around but there is great value to be had.... I like TK Maxx as I have picked up some really good bargains in here. The offer a variety of products from clothing, footwear to household items, toys, perfume and accessories. You can come across some big brand names for a fraction of the price in this store. It takes time though you really need to be prepared to look carefully. The store is often very busy and the queues for fitting rooms and till quite long. Their sizes can be a bit funny so I would definitely recommend trying on before you... Read more...

T K Maxx is one of the shops I visit most for myself but I am surprised that they do not draw your attention to the fact that some of their good are "Seconds" I know they are still discounted but I feel they need to point out what is a "Second" (meaning 'NOT' perfect. Saying that I still go to the shop but avoid items that have a small round sticky patch on (indicating they are factory seconds).... Read more...

Shopping here is not a enjoyable. Everything seems all over the place - you really have to look for everything. It stocks clothes, accessories, homewares and toys. Its very bright and lacks a welcoming feel. However you can pick up some great stuff. There is really good value in shoes - they would have limited selection in your size - but the prices are great.
