I heard about a healing talk that was being held in Tallaght Library so I decided to go along with a couple of friends. While there we had a walk around the library and I was impressed with all the different areas it had. Its nice that there are public toilets, a lot of local librarys are old building and they don't have loos. Theres sections for adults children and occasional entertainment that I have seen from time to time I think its a great asset for Tallaght to have such a lovely... Read more...

I feel so lucky to have this place on my doorstep. It is a fantastic library. Huge selection of books, dvd's and magazines. Huge kids section with computers and comfy reading areas. There is a large area for internet access for free. It is very modern, clean and the staff are lovely. The show movies, runs workshops for kids, do a toddler morning and story time. If you can find a book, the staff will gladly order it for you. There are self service check points. I love this place. ... Read more...

This library is huge, they updated it a year or two ago and now it's incredibly modern and spacious. The book shelves don't tower above you, all of the books are reachable and they have a lot of computers upstairs that you can use for free if you've a library card, but beware it gets very busy so it might be hard to get one! There's a study section which I usually frequent, because it's very silent and not too close to the main section of the library, so you can get a lot of work done in... Read more...

Tallaght library is perhaps Dublin's premier library (discluding the God-worth Trinity College Library). Its gargantuan size and variety has a lot going for it.
