The old reliable
(13 August 2010)
by: L N. 3 out of 5
I don't often shop here, but I have nipped in a few times if I was shopping in Jervis and wanted to get the food shopping out of the way as well. Looks a tad dingy from the entrance within the shopping centre as you go down a fluorescent lighted slope down, but looks deceive and I was pleasantly surprised with how big this store is and how good its stock is. Not my favourite branch, but it is convenient.... Read more...

I really like this tesco for its location on the ground floor of jervis street. it is right beside two atm machines which is handy. the store itself is large, and carries the same stock grocery wise as most tescos. prices are lower than most other supermarkets and by using your club card you can save even more. you can get into it by a ramp so its great for buggies!... good for a tesco
(27 June 2010)

One thing about this Tesco that surprises me is the size of the store. Given it's central location, it is actually very large, and I appreciate that it is always so well stocked in fresh fruit, as many places just aren't. The store is well laid out, it isn't too cramped or anything, and it seems to stock more than some of the more suburban stores like Ballsbridge and Rathmines which is surprising. However, the aisles are a bit narrow towards the front and it is definitely a bit of a squeeze... Read more...

Not bad but still Tesco haha

I am a regular shopper at various different Tesco’s – this is less by choice and more due to convenience or budget! I often find Tesco (any of them) to be in a bit of a mess. The staff are often more than a little un-helpful and often don’t seem to know what it is that they are supposed to be doing! This Tesco is quite big and they do have a lot of stuff which I suppose is good for such a central location. I have found it to be a bit of a mess any time I have been in and... Read more...

good value

People often think it is cheap bad quality food but I really dont think so. Most of their prioducts are very nice and a lot cheaper than the other big supermarkets. They do alot of their own brand of food and a lot of big brand names. there own brand is very cheap and most of it is very nice. They also do clothes, books, cds and electrical equiptment and if they charge you the wrong amount for something, they will give it to you free if you bring it back . I would recommend tesco.... This tesco has pretty much everything you need. There's always good offers on and I'd usually do my grocery shopping here. The escalators leading down to it and back up into the shopping centre are a bit annoying. A staircase would be handy. Otherwise it's a very good tesco and better than most in other places.... Food
(08 February 2010)
by: Becca D. 5 out of 5
I love Tesco. This is where I go to do all of my grocery shopping. They have great prices, and everything is always super easy to find. I enjoy getting all my food here because you can buy all the groceries you need in one place. It reminds me a lot of the grocery stores back in the states, and I feel shopping here is a place where you can get in, buy what you need, and than get out. You don't have to roam around lost trying to find the milk and bread. The do it yourself check out makes the... Read more...
