This place looks a bit dingy from the outside, and I have to say that when you go inside, the interiors are a bit intense, and register as register as cheap and tacky. The staff are friendly and efficient, I’ll give them that much, but the food here just doesn’t come close to authentic Thai. A really nice place. Friendly staff, quick service and the food is always good. It has quite a nice atmosphere and having spent a lot of time in the East, the food is really quite authentic compared to other thai restaurants. i would recommend it for a quick lunch or a nice dinner for two. ... Great sweet chilli sauce

Thai Orchid do a great Early bird - good choice and good value. The chicken wings in sweet chilli sauce were amazing and my main course, stir fry chicken was lovely too. The portions aren't huge but it worked because the flavours are so strong. The normal menu covers all the usual thai dishes but you can also get chips - because I'm just that classy. Very convenient if you find yourself hungry about town. I’ve always been able to pop in without a reservation, good atmosphere and the Green Curry is delicious. I've been to this restaurant quite a few time and I've never been disappointed by it. The food is lovely and the portions are very generous.
