The Bag Shop is located in the corbett court shopping centre in the heart of Galway. It is on the lower level floor. It's a fairly small shop but it is jam packed with suitcases, wallets, handbags, rucksacks and vanity cases and just about everything else! There's a good array of stock on the floor which you can browse at your leisure and costs are about average. GREAT VALUE!!

l was here some months ago and found it great. Whatever you are looking for from clutch bags to school bags you will find it here. l picked up a school bag for my daughter and a large casual hand-bag for myself. They have a wide selection of everything at very reasonable and some very cheap prices. The staff are lovely and very helpful. You won't find top designer brans here but who needs to pays crazy prices !!! A brilliant shop and l will be back again when l am in the area.... Read more...

good place to buy travel bags and messenger bags...

I like to take advantage of their good prices for travel bags and messenger bags..when i had my baby i got a messenger bag there in black for 10 euro on sale, so i could use it to put all babys bottles,wipes etc when we were on the move..and it wasnt much difference from mamas&papas "special" bag for putting ur babys things, which costed around 45 euro..so i definitely got better deal,plus the man who sold it for me was really nice, when i asked him about the travel bags he was... Everything you need

This is a great one-stop-shop if you need a bag or luggage and don't want to break the bank. They have a great selection of bags at reasonable prices and have them marked with useful information such as 'suitable as carry-on luggage on Ryanair'. If you want something that will last you a lifetime this probably isn't the place to find it, but considering how many bags go missing, I'd prefer to shop somewhere like this for my luggage. Prices are pretty good but they didn't have what we were looking for

We were looking for two MONSTER bags, like really huge. They didn't have anything like it. In fact, in the "suitcase" line of things, they didn't have that much, just a few brands. If we'd been looking for a backpack in any number of different patterns we would have been ok, though. At least the staff were very helpful!... Read more...

The bag shop does exactly what is says on the tin! This shop has all different kinds of bags/bag accessories. They sell handbags, schoolbags, suitcases, briefcases, wallets etc. They have a fairly decent selection and the have a good price range so usually there would be something to suit your needs and in your price range. This shop is the place to go for a bag, be it schoolbag, a little handbag, gear bag or luggage. Prices are really good. Staff are very friendly. Bags are everywhere in this shop and I like the way you can see every bag out on display. Does all the typical bag brands-Jansport, Eastpak, Roxy etc! Fashionable and practical bags are all here! What a resource

I'm sure most people have walked by a bag shop and at least briefly checked out the open display of bags. I've always found it great for emergency pre-night out handbag shopping (get something simple for 10 euro). They also have a lot of good value school bags and luggage. You're not going to find anything super-edgy or fashionable here but if you need something it's pretty convenient. I used to pass by The Bag Shop several times a week in the bus on the way into town, and I'd never for once considered of shopping there. Maybe it's their low-rent sign or the fact that they were located on Talbot St, but the idea of shopping there was not one that appealed to me.
