i have mixed views on this place to be honest.I want good service when i go somewhere to spend my money.Is that too much to ask??no i don't think so.I havent been here too many times but i got the same service all the time so can't always be wrong.ok good points, the building itself is very impressive with alot of the church features still standing.they also have a downstairs area with a late bar and i had a good night in there.They have a large menu throughout the day, and the food was tasty... Maybe i am being a bit harsh with the 2 stars i gave The Church but i have mixed feelings about this place to be honest.First things first, when i am parting with my hard earned i expect good service and ok maybe i was in on an "Off Day" but i was far from delighted for choosing to go in here.Now the building itself i'll take my hat to.the original structure still remains in all its glory and they also have a level downstairs with a late bar which is all pleasing to the eye.I thought... very nice looking building. Restaurant upstairs on the balcony overlooking the bar below. Decor is very nice and a good mixture of modern and traditional. A nightclub - Not.

The Church is neither a food restaurant nor a nightclub as the food isnt that great and the "night" club isn't nothing but a niche. At least it's only a nice place to drop in with some of your friends for few drinks before hitting on to some real nightlife in Dublin. Visit this place if: - You're a tourist (As this place is full of history) - You like to pay too much for a pint of Guinness - You're enjoying a nice evening in the City with your friends.
