Colloquially known as the Stephen Roche, the Coach is a standard fare local pub catering for needs of the parishioners of Ballinteer. They show big sports events on the big screen in the lounge - the more esoteric sports can be viewed on a smaller tv in the bar. The pub is divided into three parts. The youth of Ballinteer seem to gravitate towards the upstairs section (which I hear now has pool tables) women and children stay in the lounge area and the older gentlemen drink in the small... The Coach House has served the youth of Ballinteer and beyond for many years. The pub is always a great spot for a few drinks with a huge smoking area out back, that is nearly fully covered and heated. The staff are nice and friendly and you generally find that there is not a high turnover of staff- always a good thing in my opinion. Review for Off Licence

I can only review the off licence here, as never ventured into the bar. However from the drunken idiots that seem to stumble out of here on a Sunday evening at 6pm, I'm guessing it's no better than the Ballinteer House. Anyway back to the off-licence. When looking to buy booze in this area, your options are 1. Superquinn, 2. Tesco's in Dundrum Town Centre, 3. Off Licence at Rockfield or 4. The Coach House. I really like this pub its good craic in the summer and winter come to think about it, i like haveing a drink out the beer garden in the summer have not been up here 4 a good while but defo will be makeing an appearance soon the only thing is the toilets are the very best and some of the staff are a bit off, they also do food which is Average....
