Pig & Heifer

(19 October 2011)

Report

by: Dee D. 3 out of 5

We were here the other day at the Pig & Heifer in Pearse Street. a few chairs outdoor and its small inside. Very friendly staff and we had hear about their great salads and sandwiches and a great breakfast roll and this is what we ordered, very filling and so fresh, filled me fro the day. It was busy when we arrived and staff were under a bit of pressure, but food arrived fairly promptly. Its on busy Pearse Street and sitting outside was interesting. Prices are good for what you get. New York style

(24 January 2011)

This isn't the cheapest place to get a sandwich for lunch (they average about 5 to 6 euro), but there's a huge difference between what you'll get here and what you'll pick up for half the price elsewhere. The sandwiches are big, New York style doorsteps with a great range of fillings. The staff aren't too keen on you varying the ingredients when it's busy but are very friendly and helpful otherwise. The coffee is really excellent and very competitively priced compared to most other prices. Not... Read more...

The Pig & Heifer is an excellent place for lunch in town. They have a great selection of salads, tasty coffee and most importantly custom made sandwitches. They are decent size and very tasty. One sandwitch will fill you for a day. Atmosphere is great also, the staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to visit other the Pig & Heifer branch places in town. ... So Delicious

This place is right around where the office is so naturally I visit quite often. After everytime I eat there I am so full! I would recommend the Californian. Everything is fresh and made right in front of you. They also have breakfast, salads and other things for the person who is not craving a sandwich. There are also other locations around Dublin so be on the lookout. As I am typing this I am getting hungry for one. Another great thing about the Pig& Heifer is that they are reasonably... Pig and Heifer

The Pig and Heifer sells the best sandwiches in southside Dublin! All the portions are huge, and all at a fairly reasonable price. The food is always so fresh. The staff there always seem so friendly. The shop is just around the corner from the office, so it would be one of my regulars for lunch!... Read more...

No laser card

Report

by: Sean S. 2 out of 5

I strolled in here today hungry for a sambo, but unfortunately told they don't except laser cards or any cards for that matter. The sandwich was so close:-(. There was no sign to say otherwise. So out I stroll without cash and without a sandwich. Why o why do outlets not take laser, when we are moving to a cashless society!... Read more...

Following meetings on Pearse street, I desperately needed a bite to eat and came across this very cool little sandwich/delicatessen on Pearse Street. Very american and would not be surprised if the brand Pig & Heifer is american. The salads and cold meats/chicken looked extremely fresh. I ordered the chicken mayo with loads of salad etc, on this chunky brown brie bread. It was nearly a meal upon itself and came to €4.50. The girls behind counter were very pleasant and friendly....
