Perfect for pennies

The location is quite central and the atmosphere is ambient with a modern decor which is kept in good nick throughout, fast food this is not. While you can get a burger and chips, it is of the fancy variety, for not much more then you would pay for a fast food meal, but a whole lot nicer and healthier. When I went there, I had a voucher and got two meals for 12.50, which was an excellent treat! The staff were hard pressed as it was toward the tail end of the vouchers usability and every one... Terrace Lovely on a Sunny Day;Good Value

Overall a good experience- main plus dessert with a glass of wine (decent size) for €12.50 with waiter/waitress service is pretty good value, and the portions are not mean. OK, the food is the cooked version of products available in their food hall- but these are good quality and I oftenbuy there.Food is tasty, ambience modern and appealing , and times I have been there , service has been excellent. The terrace overlooking Grafton Street is a lovely location to dine on a sunny day. ... Read more...

Not impressed

I really wasn't impressed with my trip to the restaurant on the roof of Marks and Spencers in Grafton Street. I went in for my afternoon break, about 3 o'clock, and it was quite empty, so the staff weren't particularly busy. However, despite only ordering some coffees and deserts (which were slices of the cakes that they sell in M&S) it took nearly half an hour for the cake to arrive. In fact, but the time it had arrived I only had a mouthful of coffee left to have with it. My other... Read more...

Average restaurant but well located

The restaurant on the 3rd floor of M&S in Grafton Street is very well located right in the middle of Grafton Street. It's not been too busy when we've gone, and it's very well set up for eating with young children. The food is pretty good - not great, but tasty enough. Last time we went I had a tomato soup and gammon and eggs, and was happy with it. The mixed bread starter is tasty, and they do a very nice afternoon tea with scones, jam and cream and a good childrens' menu. My main... Read more...

Marks and Spencers roof top café is a great spot for breakfast. The location's good. Food's very good. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They do a great full Irish. I like the place, the food is tasty and the service is quick. There's also a great outdoor terrace overlooking Grafton Street. They have a good choice of food on the menu. Prices are okay.... Based on the rooftop of Marks & Spencers this offers both seating inside as well as outside. They do wonderful scones as well as lunches and deserts. Our service was initially quiet slow, where the waitress forgot one of our orders. However another waiter returned to apologise and offer another free cup of coffee. Not sure if they offer evening dinners. If in town, would probably head back again.... Read more...
