I get my hair done about twice - three times per year so i really dont feel guilty spending money on getting it done here/ That said i have come out a couple of times not liking the particular cut immediately but it usually grows. The actual hair dressers are priced according to experience. I normally go for the most experienced. My hair isn't to complicated but i normally get it cut from long to short so i think its better to go for the best for the sake of about 20 euro. I have often doubted... Read more...

Toni and Guy is a bit on the expensive side. The last time I visited the Clarendon Street branch, it was €79 for a wash, cut and blowdry. They spend more time cutting your hair than any other hairdressers. I have long hair below my shoulders and found it in better condition and was actually getting much longer between cuts. They really look after you and one time I went, Laura Bermingham from Ireland AM assessed my skin while I was having my haircut and gave me some sample products which... Read more...

Looks like I'm in the minority here but I had a bad experience here. In fairness it was a couple of years ago so maybe things have changed. I had quite long here which I was getting coloured. I don't know did they give me a trainee but anyway he was not very good. They left the colour on too long at the ends and the top of my hair was brown and the ends were BLACK! Also they didn't have the towel around my neck properly when washing and I got water all down my back. When he went to... Read more...

First of all, I have to say that I've never been to any fancy salons for getting my hair done. It's just that my best friend's wedding was at the weekend and I thought that I may as well see what my hair would look like if it was given the works. What can I say? All the staff were really friendly (I was a bit nervous after all!) and I even got a few compliments about my hair at the wedding! Definitely worth it if you have a few bob going spare!... This is the only haridressers I will now go to after having far too many bad experiences with other haridressers. The Stylists in Toni and Guy are very well trained and professional, be it for cut or colour! Well worth paying slightly more than other run of the mill hardressers for the quality of the service you recieve!... Read more...

I tried this branch of Toni & Guy for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. I had visited the Dame St branch years ago, but this one by far is much better. Less frantic and more attention paid to the consultation. I honestly didn't know what I wanted, but just wanted a change. They recommended lots of options and gently guided me towards the final choice. I'm so happy with it. Lots of compliments and from people I don't even know that well! If you go between Monday and Wednesday, there... Read more...
