Very expensive

As a lot of other reveiws have stated, i find Toni and guy very expensive. I have long, very thick hair and they charge an extra 5 euro for a blow dry....just because my hair is think....that's not my fault! Anyway, this is not my usual hairdressers and would only go hear every so often. I find the girls in there to be very ignorant. They seem to want to have a nice chat with eachother than focus on the customer. Saying that, i have never had a bad experience with a hair cut and it wouldnt... Read more...

I personally find this place extremely overpriced and would not go back there again. I went to get my hair done before the debs, I was told to wait for twenty minutes because my girl was busy, when she finally arrived to do my hair she spent about 10-20 minutes doing it and then said i was done. over 50euro for that, i dont think so. she seemed very inexperienced and she was quite rude. ... Wouldn't recommend for color!

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago. I decided that it would probably be a safe place to go since it was a nice looking salon and it was a little more pricey (I typically believe you get what you pay for). Unfortunately, this was not the case. I got a cut and a color. The haircut was fabulous, but the girl that did my color did not get it right despite me showing her a picture of exactly what I wanted. Very good salon

I used to live near here and always went here to get my hair done. In fairness I didn't go every 4-6 weeks as would be recommended as I found it just too expensive but following a bad experience in another salon I saved up to go here. The colourists are excellent, my hair colour was so nice I nearly wish I still lived near here just so I could get it done here. Have finally found a good salon near where I live now but it took a while and it will take some time to get my colour right... Read more...

To be honest, i rarely get my hair done here. The last time i was here was for my birthday. I decided to treat myself and you can't beat a good cut and colour for giving you an extra boost. Its an expensive place to get you hair done, especially if your getting your hari done every 4 weeks. Its a good place if you want to treat yourself. Giving the recession and the cutbacks you'd think they would reduce prices by a bit!... Read more...

if you want a pampering then here is your place its like heaven, modern pleasnt staff professional job and its well worth the money, i know its expensive but u get wat u pay for definitely worth trating urself once or twice a year at this salon but be sure u tell them what u want or they could end up doin something u may not like... to me, toni and guy would have to be the best place that i have ever gotten my hair done. the staff are the nicest i have come across in my search for the perfect hairdressers, they talk to you but dont talk so much that you get worried they arren't concentrating on your precious locks! i was undecided with what to do with my hair so we went through everything that would suit my face and they let me know when what i thought would look good really wouldn't! i know some people may not like that... Expensive!

It's a while since I've been here but only because of the prices! I visited a good few times and always saw Carolyn. She always listened and rather than just agreeing with what I wanted, would give her opinion and other options. And I always trusted her and came away with a good cut. Ok they don't have the nice massage chairs but I'd happily give them up for a good cut! Hello - its a Recession!!!

So I decided I d take a break from Peter Marks' and try somewhere new for a hair cut so I booked in for a cut and blow dry with a stylist at Tony and Guy in the Dundrum Shopping Centre. FIrstly they don't have the massage chairs at the wash basin which Peter Marks' do and I didn't get offered my tea or coffee which they do at peter Marks also.
