I'd have to echo the sentiment of Hugh M here in terms of the quality of the clothing in Topman. It's not great quality, comparatively to places like River Island and Gap. Once upon a time I did have a penchant for finding myself in this shop picking up various bits, but I'm finding the range a little jaded these days - always seems to be the same thing, a copy of a copy, lacklustre in design, far too many bright colours of the rainbow, especially in jeans, for my liking. I really love topman for mens clothes as they always have the fashion trend spot on. sometimes i even wish i could be a guy and try some of the stuff on because i love it. Topman is a cool shop. they sell a great range of clothing for young men! they have a really trendy selection of clothes and there is something to suit everyone. i love their jeans, shirts and t shirts. they are good quality and although more expensive than other high street stores they are worth spending that bit extra on as they look good and wash well, they always keep their quality.... Topman has some of the best clothes I have seen in a man's shop before. There are so many different styles and clothes and they are so original and unique. It is a little pricey but the clotheslast forever and are worth it in the end. I go in her for present for friends, boyfriends and my brother but the amount of times I have been tempted to buy hoodies in my size! Great for young lads

My 13 year old son is a massive topman fan - he wears tracksuit bottoms and topman t shirts and hoodies and nothing else. I find it good value and hard wearing everything washes well. Topman seems to be going the way of Topshop itself and concentrating more on high-fashion items as opposed to the far more wearable fashionable but classic pieces it used to stock. Most of the tshirts here seem to be of the skinny variety and don't suit the more 'robust' male figure. Having said that, for guys in their late teens/early twenties this does have a good selection of trendy, well-priced clothes and I usually take a look in here if buying gifts for younger male relatives.... Have bought presents here for 20 something relatives etc , and they are really 'chic'and up-to date in their styles. I am middle aged - so 'skinny' jeans and suits look ridiculous on me now , but I like a lot of their accessories:- shoes are around €56 in the sales at the moment and many of them are well made and fashionable. i love the jeans from here. they are good quality and a great fit. i have a similar complaint with the quality of tops from here as i mentioned previously in my river island review, they appear to be of a much lesser quality now than they used to be a year ago if even all that long. they are good for socks and boxers though. and they do student discount.... I don't buy very much in Topman for my man!! I find their clothes are very fitted and that only a very slim fella could pull them off. Also some things are just too funky and suited more to boy bands than the men i know. Their clothes can be very colourful and just not wearable. I do however like their jeans for men but not the skinny ones - again its only the slim boys who can wear them!... Read more...

Always able to pick up gifts for the males in the family here

Such a good and varied selection of up to the minute and trendy clothes here for the sons and brothers that you are sure after a browse to find a couple of things suitable for that birthday or Christmas gift. Always busy with the younger set shopping at weekends - couples in there where she is treating him to something new etc. maybe for a day out or a birthday. Sales staff are very helpful if you want advice putting a few items together etc. or asking what is the most popular seller.... Read more...

This is a fantastic clothes shop for young men and teens. The male version of the famous Topshop, it stocks casual tshirts and jeans to shirts, pants, ties, shoes and even pjs. Stocks accessories too. Everything is really cool and in style. Student discount of 10% a great bonus for students. Shop is small enough, but has everything. Nice clothes poor quality

Not a huge fan of Topman as I've had a few bad experiences with various items I've purchased here. The style of the clothes are fine and they have a decent assortment of different items its just the quality of the fabric and stitching can be really poor. Have bought shirts and t shirts that have virtually disintegrated in a matter of weeks. The staff are usually very helpful and will check stockrooms etc./ Prefer River Island or J&J.... Read more...
