I found USIT great when travelling around Europe. They offer some good advice and organise rail and visas. It's the first place you think of when planning a trip and it's where most students go when planning a trip.Huge Aston quay store, where staff are good at answering most questions asked. If you can't get into to see them yourself you can email, their website is very good.... Read more...

USIT specialises in student, under 35s and independent travel with its headquarters here. There are a huge amount of staff in this branch so you never have to wait too long to get served, you simply take a ticket and wait til your number is called. They do visas for New Zealand, Australia, The USA and Canada. I do think usit cards for students should only be €5 though .... Read more...

I had many dealings with USIT during my student life (didn't everyone?!) including booking a Volunteer Placement, an interrail ticket and my J1. A few years ago when I was planning a trip down under to Australia I legged it in here to see all the great offers and deals that they had on offer......not so much....I thought that this place was supposed to be for students and all that jazz but I thought that they were really really expensive and I went somewhere else in the end. I think that this place is good if you have no clue what to do whatsoever or you dont know how to organise the trip/research it yourself or where to start... Read more...

I view USIT as one big scam. I've had countless friends go by USIT for their J1 visas, and while for a number of months during the year they boast "FREE J1" as they waiver some probably already non-existent fee, each applicant will be hit in the face with a LOAD of charges, and forced to book their flights within USIT, which, from personal experience, always cost HUNDREDS more. Plus, USIT claim to help you find jobs- they don't. USIT also claim the slip of paper that the social... Read more...
