A great shopping centre

(22 October 2012)

Report

by: Caroline M. 4 out of 5

I visited here recently when my sister was having her baby across the road from the centre in the CUMH. Its a great centre with plenty of shops such as Penneys, Tesco, Boots, A-wear, to name but a small few. The centre has a very small selection of restaurants but the ones that are there serve great food. There is plenty of free parking but be careful not to exceed the 3 hour limit or you could find yourself clamped. Great shopping centre with great shops.... Read more...

Not bad at all

Wiltons shopping centre is only a shortdistance fron the city centre. this shopping centre has nearly 65 shops in it. The main store would be tesco but there is also a pennys store as well. There is a wide reange of shops from jewellery to bank of ireland, so most things are covered here. This is the ideal place to go to waste a few hours. With so many shops under one roof you are bound to find a place that interests you. Well worth a visit.... Read more...

nice pennys

anytime i went to visit my sister we went here shopping. they have a nice sized pennys and a huge tesco, a small awear and new look along with a few others hops. eating choices are a bit limited, we ate at one of the cafes which was ok. my mother bought a massive rug from a man selling them just outside pennys and got a steal, he was very friendly and negotiable too. i think it could do with a mcdonalds maybe for cheaper eating alternatives. ... Visitors to the hospital

(02 October 2011)

Report

Not a very big centre but nice all the same it has a nice size Penneys and New look along with other smaller women clothes shops. As its next to CUH hospital I would imagine its good for visitors to the hospital to get out and walk around for a hour to get away and even pick up essentials in Penneys and Tesco. Lots of parking and has all the facilities required but on a smaller scale to Mahon, none the less worth a visit,... Read more...

This is a great shopping centre to visit for a days shopping. You can get your grocery shopping done in Tesco and get lovely fresh fruit and veg, homemade bread ,jams etc from a great fruit shop out there. They also have a gorgeous cake stand which do great birthday cakes also and you can put any photo or design on it. There are some great little cafes and also hi burger for the kids. There are phone shops, stalls with all sorts of nic nacs,a pet stall for all your pet food needs and accessories.... Read more...

Ah the memories of this place. I used to live across the road from Wilton shopping centre in my first year in college. I was obsessed woth the place and would sometimes skip my lectures so i could look around the place and spend all my money. It was like a little town over there. Had bank of ireland which i found extremely handy. And the tesco over there is the biggest tesco ever, i loved it. Great parking space too. They also brang in Pennys the past few years and it was a massive success.... Read more...

Good variety

Alot of shopping centres only have one anchor store, but I think it is wonderful that Wilton has both Tesco and Pennys as anchor stores. Bits and bobs is a nive little hsop with a few crafty bits in there, and lots of cheapy toys for the kids for a quick treat if they are being good. Little Italy has smoothies for cheaper than you will find them anywhere else, and a great range of delicious Icecreams. Fantastic that Tesco is 24hours. Great that it is near the hospital. Also plenty of bus... Read more...

In this shop i always feel like i am annoying the workers by asking for a size or asking for something specific. I mean they are there to help you. It really doesnt feel like this. what i ahve found though is that the shop is very well laid out. It has all the casula stuff on one side and all the going out stuff on the other which is brill.. They have good sales. The summer sale is brilliant they have all the racks together. ... Read more...

Theres shops to suit everyone, young and old. You can bring your kids, parents, friends, and find something to suit everyone all under one roof. The Penneys here is what really makes it worth the trip for me, its great!... Read more...

Convenient to Hospital

Report

by: Cecilia O. 4 out of 5

Wilton is very convenient when attending or visiting the hospital directly accross the road especially Tescos & penneys for baby stuff if someone is staying in the maternity unit unexpectedly or for toilitries for other patients. They also have a nice card shop for gifts etc. Tescos is great as it is 24 hours. Wilton had nothing for years except for Roches stores as others have said but it is great now for browsing if you are waiting on someone with a day appointment at the hospital &... Read more...

Golden Oldies

Report

by: SEAN N. 5 out of 5

I really like wilton, it's one of the golden oldies of shopping centres so to speak. It has a lot of the cheaper shops here which is great, from tesco to Penneys to new look. 24 hour large tesco which is very handy for people living in the area. They have plenty of food places also scattered around the shopping centre. Its a little bit old now i guess but i will always stop here every now and again. Free parking is a great bonus......
