Beautiful Food!

I love the feel of this place. The food is really good but I would say that as I love Chinese food! Setting is just wonderful along the coast and if you feel up to it you can go for a nice walk after your meal. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant but I did get a slight feeling of being rushed towards the end of the meal. Super food though.... Read more...

Wow I really love this place, has a really nice posh feel to the place. The restaurant has nice décor and dim lighting to set the tone. I find it kind of romantic atmosphere. It is located in Clontarf, North Dublin right across from the sea. The menu is typical of most chinese’s with its offering. My favourite is always the satay chicken. The Portions are perfect and always look yum. I really enjoy coming here. I think its the perfect place for a date if you are into chinese food.... Read more...

I have been here a few times and although the food has been nice the staff are not great you feel like you are being rushed out because as soon as you have finished one course they are over clearing the table and the next course is brought out very quickly. It is abit expensive aswell. They do teppenyaki here aswell which I have never tried but if I was to go back here I think the teppenyaki is what I'd go for.... Read more...

Friday Night Chinese

(04 July 2011)

Report

by: lorraine w. 3 out of 5

Visited here on Friday night about 10:30pm. It was very quiet only 5 or 6 other diners. Restaurant has nice décor and staff are super efficient. I found the menu selection for starters a bit limited but the Wait for food was minimal. Portion size was perfect and I really enjoyed my main course. However partner was not so impressed. His curry dish seemed to contain sweet potato and he found this a little odd. It is a little on the pricey side in comparison with other Chinese restaurants... Read more...

Popular Choice

Wongs in clontarf is a popular restaurant in North Dublin, I've been quite a few times and is always a good choice for chinese food. The staff are excellent and very efficient, The food and wine always tastes good and there is a good choice of seating. They have recently added a special offer menu which is good value but sometimes the meal can be a bit rushed, not sure if the staff are too eager! Overall a nice experience though.... Read more...

Food is gorgeous here. There is plenty of parking outside too. It's just on Clontarf sea front and next to St Annes Park. The food is fresh and very tasty and the service here is very good i also recommend the Skewered Chicken Satay for starter and the Prawn Curry is mouth watering. It's not the cheapest restaurant and can get very busy on a Saturday night. The staff are great and on top of everything. ... Read more...

The food here is very delicious, however the surroundings are a little cramped and the staff are eager to rush you out so that impacts on your enjoyment of the food and service as a whole. The menu is extensive, lots of choice. We ordered desserts but they were a massive letdown, those horrible pre-packed things straight out of the freezer. Also you have to pay extra for rice -bah humbug! ... I love this restaurant. The food is freshly made and it tastes great. i always try to go for something different but i keep coming back to the sweet and sour the sauce is just delicious. The service here is very good i also recommend the king prawn dishes they are always fresh and tasty. The food here is very reasonably priced and portions are big so a few people could share portions.... Read more...

Was only here once for a family birthday party in november and have to say it was a really brilliant experience. I'm not usually the biggest fan of Chinese food but was not dissapointed here. The service was really good, it was a saturday night and really busy. I had the fillet steak which came in slices rolled with vegetables and was gorgeous. Had a taster of everyone elses and enjoyed everything. Was very expensive but the meal was paid for by a relative so we had no complaints. Really enjoyed... Read more...
