I absolutely love yamamori for so many different reasons. Your greeted with a warm cup of green tea, food is served quickly and is always piping hot. they do fabulous bento boxes where you get to try a bit of everything for really cheap. there sushi is really fresh. they do a great chicken teriyaki which comes to the table sizzling. there is a great atmosphere and i would reccomend anyone to go there and try it!... I came here last Saturday after Riverdance in the Gaiety Theatre. It was only 6pm but the place was pretty busy most likely as there had been a Pride Parade in the city centre that day so plenty of people for custom. I do love the sushi here but I felt let down by my latest visit. Despite the fact that we had booked we were put in a corner and all the food was served at once. We only had one drink each and the bill came to almost €70 for 2 people. To add insult to injury, as I was paying... Read more...

This place is one of the few places in Dublin that one can get good sushi. It is well worth a visit if you are into Japanese cuisine, especially sushi. They sell a range of sushis and sashimis. My favourite thing from their restaurant is the pickled ginger, I could literally eat a kilo of it if it was in front of me. IT is really good value, and you can get a great lunch meal for around a tenner there, I can't remember the exact price. Lots of japanese staff too, and lots of asians eating, so... Read more...

If I have one main recommenadtion as regards Yamamori in Ormonde Quay, it is to go to the beer garden when it is sunny and feast yourself there. From first sitting down, everything here is very ceremonial from the way they bring you green tea to the way the waiters take your order. It is no wonder this place is renowned for the freshest sushi. The atmosphere is always amazing in here, from business types to ladies who lunch, this place has something to offer everyone for their sushi needs.... Read more...

This is a very good restaurant/ food bar. Although not as good as the main restaurant, mainly because they only serve sushi, it is very good. The quality of the sushi is excellent and there are many lunch deals to be had. This is a great place to grab lunch with colleagues or friends. Sushi can be very good, and it is here. The atmosphere is good and you can sit or take your food to go. The prices are good and you get a good amount for what you pay for. This place is very nice.... Read more...

This is a fantastic Sushi restaurant, which has a wide range of Sushi and they actually cater to dietary requirements! The Bento box with miso soup is delicious. If this is a little too much to eat, they also have a lunch time bento box. These Bento boxes change every day as well, so there is a ncie range if you go in a couple of times a week. It's a nice, healthy range of food. They also have an offer on drinks during the week; 5.50, and they are nice plays on the normal drinks 'Cosmo Tokyo'... Read more...

Sushi

The food in Yamamori Sushi has to be the best sushi around this side of the city and located near the Ha’penny Bridge. Lovely décor and I love their Japanese artwork and their Bamboo garden that is perfect on a warm evening and I love the way you can watch all the chefs cooking the food. When we arrive we were greeted by a nice member of staff who showed us to our table. Menu is extensive and sushi being one my many favourite foods and is so healthy for you and non-fattening and... Had dinner here one evening for a friends birthday, absolutely lovely spot! I was the first guest to arrive so I was waiting at the bar for a bit, was immediately offered a drink by a friendly barman. They have a really extensive menu, even if you're a fussy eater or haven't tried Japanese food before, there's something for everyone. I'm not even a huge fan of sushi myself but their other food is amazing, and really big portions that leave you fit to burst! Great place for meals with groups,... Read more...

Yamamori is located on ormond quay not far from O connell bridge. I wasn't a huge sushi fan but this place converted me. They have excellent staff who are really warm and welcoming and the decor is warm and inviting. The dishes are excellent, well prepared, tasty and really good value for money. My favourite has to be the bento box as it gives you a little bit of everything. The fish always beautifully fresh and really good quality. I would highly recommend.... Read more...

I love sushi and this is one of the best places in dublin. When i lived in dublin i used to go every thursday for sushi with my friends. They have such a wide variety and staff are helpful if you dont know what to order. for starters, pork gyoza is really good, i absolutely love the chicken teriyaki. it comes with really fresh crispy veg and is served to you sizzling. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert is really good. Its so clean and well laid out. Will be starting my Thursday trips here again... Read more...

Sushi

Yamaori is one of only a few sushi restaurants in Dublin. I am not a huge sushi fan but have been here a couple of times for the bento box. The atmosphere is generally quite lively as it tends to be quite busy especially on a sunday afternoon. The last time I was in the service was not so great. Food was slow and when we ordered a second drink the waiter forgot to bring it. All in all it didn't put us off though... Read more...

This is by far the best sushi I've had in Dublin. I had a really lovely evening here. It's comfortable and has good food, you couldn't ask for anything more. Sushi in general I find to be pricey and this place follows suit with that but it wasn't as expensive as I thought it might be so all in all it gets a big thumbs up from me.... Read more...
