Such a lovely restaurant! Great food everytime i have been there with great service too! The deals on the set menu are very good value and i would definetly reccomend it. They are very good with kids too and try to keep the atmosphere of the restaurant very relaxed. I'll definetly be going back there again and again.... Read more...

Went here for an early bird on one Saturday evening. We ended up staying for the karaoke and got home all hours but it was good crack. The food was really good and we were both really happy with it and also the service. I would definitely go back again as I thought it was great value! ... Read more...

The Best Thai Green Curry

(01 October 2010)

Report

Well done Zao, one of the best Asian restaurants around! I have eaten here quite a few times and service is always wonderful. However, the layout of the restaurant is very open, so better suited to groups rather than an intimate evening for 2. I mostly use Zao for take away though. They have a really extensive menu made up of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian dishes however, and as boring as it seems, I can never resist ordering the same thing! Number 32 please, the Thai Green Curry is just... Read more...

Lovely Restaurant

I love the food here. Any meal I have had has been excellent. It is also a take-away but the food is just as nice. I recommend the chicken in garlic sauce. They have mid-week specials and weekend specials, but the food is always perfect. They used to do karaoke but not sure if they still do as I haven't been recently at the weekend. The staff take good care of the customers and are very helpful. The only thing I find is the layout of the restaurant is very open. You can hear the people at the... Read more...

Nice atmosphere, great staff

Its location is a bit out of the way - upstairs in a section of the Omni Centre near Eddie Rockets. It's a decent asian restaurant which has built up a good reputation with locals. Have been here a few times and the staff really make you feel welcome. Have found that they have gone out of their way for us any time we've been. Food is really good. Their cantonese roast duck is perfectly done in comparison to a loty of other restaurants. Have never had a bad meal here. Well done to all the staff.... Read more...

ZAO is really WOW!

It took me a while to pronounce Zao...its like Wow but with a Z. Zao is located beside the Omniplex cinema in Santry. I think the exterior looks very attractive and this is due to the colouring and the lighting. The food itself is of excellent quality, the chicken for example tastes as chicken should. Its good quality, well seasoned food that isnt ovecooked. If im getting takeout i usually get the 3 in 1. n my opinion their 3 in 1 is the best around and the thickness and flavour of the curry... Fine Asian Food

Zao is located in the Omni Centre in Santry and dishes up a selection of Thai, Malaysian and Chinese cuisine. The decor of the restaraunt is very modern and contemporary and the place is spotless. Have always found the food to be really good here. The set menus are really good value - they can be a bit skimpy with the starters. The staff could not be more friendlier and attentive - many other restaraunts could learn from them. Tends to attract a lot of parties and large groups so sometimes its... Read more...
