The fresh aroma of herbs, spices and ripened vegetables brings Italian cuisine to the mind. Since most people can not just hop on a plane and travel to the lovely countryside of Italy, many replace this desire with the fine taste of an Italian restaurant. Taking the time out of the busy work day or going to the restaurant around the corner will give you an opportunity to treat yourself to some excellent food and wine for some. All across Dublin there are great and affordable options to fix the craving for this type of cooking.
In the south part of Dublin on Terenure Road is Marios Restaurant. This quaint place is highly ranked by the WhoseView community giving it the second highest ranking for a restaurant in Dublin. Marios offers a vast menu to choose from and the chance to have a nice evening out.
Jonathan raved “The menu has a vast choice and I think we had to delay our waiter twice as we couldn’t decide what we wanted to eat! When the food came it did not disappoint either. It was one of the nicest meals out I’ve had in a very long time. The price was right too not very expensive yet not too cheap. Oh and the wine, the selection they had was very good, covered all tastes and the wine we chose was excellent!” On the same street as Marios Restaurant is IL Divo. This restaurant captures your taste pallet with a range of pastas, pizzas and daily specials including a deal for the early bird menu. Nancy said “Il Divo offers very tasty Italian dishes at a reasonable price. The staff there are always smiling and prompt, making the dining experience all the more pleasurable. The menu variety is good, I recommend the Fettuccine Pavarotti dish - it’s gorgeous!”

Another restaurant that you should stop on by is Milano in Dundrum. After a long hard day of shopping nothing tastes better than Italian food. With the rich and bold flavors of the cuisine it fills the stomach for a reasonable price. Hilary claims “If you want the best Italian food at a reasonable price this is the place to go. It is such a relaxed atmosphere you wouldn’t notice the time go past nor would you want to leave when your dining is finished.” The north city centre in Dublin provides an Italian restaurant for the individuals who are looking for a place to either dine in or takeaway. Bel Cibo offers a quality menu that lets’ individuals choose which option is the best for them while getting the Italian taste. Charlotte said “There’s an informal charm to the place that works - it appears café in the afternoons and restaurant-diner in the evenings. You can go in work clothes, sweat pants or full formal and will fit in nicely. The staff is friendly and obliging with a full team always on standby for your every whim. A great place for socialising in a casual environment.”
If you happen to be out around Howth, Casa Pasta is an accessible choice for the Italian eater. This restaurant also allows you to takeaway your meal. Providing this allows you to go and explore Howth while having an appetizing meal. Sarah G. shared “It has a really homely atmosphere and you won’t leave disappointed! There are loads of pubs near by to go for a drink before or after your meal, and you can also walk along Howth pier.”
With these suggestions take the time to go and explore the wonderful tastes that Italy has to offer from right here in Dublin.
