I was over on the West side of Dublin last week at a family event. I noticed when driving around that the average price of a litre of petrol in a selection of stations was circa €1.64.9. I head back toward home and it's as if with each mile I drive the prices start increasing. The Applegreen in Stillorgan is not doing anyone any favours with the prices they are charging. They are about 4c per litre dearer than the Western Dublin stations. I for one am going to top up with cheaper priced read more...

There is no shortage of money as far as UCD is concerned. They are presently adding a new extension and refurbishing the old Science Buildings. It now looks as if the Agriculture Building is getting an extension as well. There is a new Law Building just started. They are also dismantling the covered walkways it appears. Hi All, I visited The Reiki Centre about 4 days or so ago. I have been for Reiki about half a dozen times and to a different person each time... but this time I noticed an amazing change. My friend brought me here recently with a coupon so I wasn't expecting too much but was really pleasantly surprised. Everything on the menu was up for grabs - surprising for a coupon - even the fillet steak which we had ! It was so delicious and the portions were extremely generous. It came on a hot stone which was impressive along with a choice of three sauces no less ! Everything was delicious. The original entrance to this museum was on the opposite side. That is why the stuffed elephant and hanging skeleton of the Blue Whale is facing in the opposite direction. It was too difficult to turn them around when they positioned the entrance on the Merrion Square side. A great place to visit. Downstairs you have the creepy crawlies with the stuffed animals on the first floor. There is an archive here of everything Irish in the field of music and dance. It is open to the public Monday to Friday 10.a.m to 5 p.m. A lot of the information has been digitised but is also available in hard copy with sheet music, photographs etc available.
