Cafe en Seine

Barry Tallon posted a new review on Cafe en Seine, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

Cafe en Seine always seems to be overpacked, which is surprising as it's one of the most expensive places in Dublin, in fairness to them the music can be very good but the later the night gets the more of a sweatbox it turns into.

The Summit Inn

Barry Tallon posted a new review on The Summit Inn, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

The summit as the name suggests is at a highpoint in Howth and on a nice Summers evening the view can be fantastic as you relax with a nice cold pint al fresco, some nice tasty nibbles to be got here aswell.

Brown Thomas - Dublin

alan joseph nolan posted a new review on Brown Thomas - Dublin, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

shop is a bit overrated but you gotta love it. Its practically a landmark in dublin. Love the cheesy windows and fake snow at christmas. Love the smell of the cosmetic section and the truely luxurious clothes. The electronic section is heaven for me. Super plush shop.

Purty Kitchen

alan joseph nolan posted a new review on Purty Kitchen, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

great pub with cheap booze. Has good nite club upstairs and is free in when in bar. Staff very nice grub not bad either. Shows loads of matches and has some great bands in. Only fault really is uncomfortable seating.

Lillies Bordello

alan joseph nolan posted a new review on Lillies Bordello, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

this place is completly overrated. Very expensive moody door staff and stuck up guests. Am sick of celeb wannabes and this is one place they all meet up. its a shame cause porterhouse downstairs is really nice.

Bleeding Horse The

Jenny Murphy posted a new review on Bleeding Horse The, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

Many a friend will siggest hitting The Bleeding Horse for birrthday drinks, and it is always good to start the 'Camden Crawl'. As the previous reviewer said the smoking area is great, quite a few tables and chairs and not a bit cold. The staff are really great, you never seem to wait long for a...

Cafe Kylemore

Noirin Cronin posted a new review on Cafe Kylemore , that Joanna Barry also reviewed

I have never really gotten the appeal of the kylemore franchise, to me its just an over rated restaurant come cafe that serves okish food at extortinate prices! I have gone in here a few time in the past but really its not on my list of prioritys to eat in, you're much better of going into...

Eason - Dublin O' Connell St

Sarah Curran posted a new review on Eason - Dublin O' Connell St, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

i find eason's is always the first stop off for books for college, but also that its quite pricey compared to other places. there is a huge selection of books though so your bound to find what your looking for. they have a really good art section with loads of supplies. the staff are quite helpful...

Morgan Hotel The

Jenny Murphy posted a new review on Morgan Hotel The, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

This is not a review of the hotel as I have never stayed there but I have frequented the bar many times. It is quite a trendy modern looking place with a clientele to match bhut somehow it stops short of being pretentious like some other trendy places dotted around Temple Bar. the smoking area is...

Temple Bar Pub The

Jenny Murphy posted a new review on Temple Bar Pub The, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

For some reason this is one place I would very rarely suggest for a few drinks. That said, whenever I find myself stumbling through the doors it is generally to be met by a wall of sound, music and laughter. It always seems to have a buzz about it and I always like that you can start chatting to...

Eason - Dublin O' Connell St

mark sweeney posted a new review on Eason - Dublin O' Connell St, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

Easons is around since 1919 and has a great reputation as a quality bookstore. Easons sell absolutely everything to do with books, stationary, arts and crafts as well as a large selection of school items such as past papers and technical drawing equipment. There are three floors including an...

Jo'Burger

Roxanne Brownlee posted a new review on Jo'Burger, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

This place is awesome. Food is so insanely good here and I love the small, kooky, intimate atmosphere that is played against a pumping DJ. Service is great and all the staff have been there a long time, prices are high and they don't do many special offers in the evening so this, for me anyway, is...

Brown Thomas - Dublin

Roxanne Brownlee posted a new review on Brown Thomas - Dublin, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

I think everyone automatically loves Brown Thomas, and why wouldn't you? They put a huge amount of effort into making wonderous displays and the store is FILLED with the best of everything and all of the luxuries you crave to be able to afford. It's always classy and it's always clean and it's just...

Powerscourt Centre

mark sweeney posted a new review on Powerscourt Centre, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

Powerscourt is quite a unique type of shopping centre. Its located in over 3 floors in an 18th century mansion type house just off Grafton Street. There are a number of cafes which are great for relaxing and people watching. Cafe Fresh on the top floor is excellent for a bite to eat. The antique...

Cafe en Seine

Nigel D'Arcy posted a new review on Cafe en Seine, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

This premises has had an interesting history and indeed there were in past years some good restaurants here, which ,sadly, no longer exist. Yes -the decor, and 'Parisian' type surroundings with the centrally situated bar, are attractive---but it tends to be quite dark, which is fine if there is a...

RTE

Jenny Murphy posted a new review on RTE , that Joanna Barry also reviewed

Yeah, yeah I know, terrible programming, most of the home grown stuff is dreadful and I am yet to meet someone who actually watches Katherine Lynch but bless their cotton socks they try! The sports coverage is generally good and of course there is always Home and Away, probably the best...

Cafe en Seine

Adam Hurley posted a new review on Cafe en Seine, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

When I was 18 I loved this place. In retrospect 18 year old me was an idiot who was impressed by statues in doors but thats beside the point. It has so much potential mainly because it looks amazing. but in practices it just isn't really up to scratch. The staff are fine but not exceptional like...

Olympia Theatre

Jenny Murphy posted a new review on Olympia Theatre, that Joanna Barry also reviewed

I really like The Olympia and have done since the first time I was here at about the age of 6. When you go to a play or show here and it is fully seated, when the curtains are closed you really get a feel for the place as a theatre from back in the day. That is one thing I really appreciate about...
