Kehoes

Jenny Murphy posted a new review on Kehoes, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

This is one of my favourite places to go for a pint, be it on a Sunday afternoon or on a Friday night. The interior reminds me of my granny's house, something which I feel adds to the atmosphere. It is generally crowded and hard to find a seat but you get sucked into the place depsite that. If you...

Mulligans

mark sweeney posted a new review on Mulligans, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

As Stated in other reviews Mulligans has been around for almost an eternity - it is a Dublin institution. The crowd is a great mix of students, journos and office types. Decor is shabby and hasn't changed in yonks but sure thats part of the experience . No background radio or tv - just lively...

This pub is one of the famous originals, formally licensed in 1782 (as it says over the door)and apparently a shebeen for years before that- not fancy, but with oodles of history and atmospjhere-the snugs etc-the same way it was long , long, long ago (obviously with modern safety and bar...

Saba

Paolo Fiorini posted a new review on Saba, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

This place looks great with a really great ambience. The staff are very friendly and professional, although we couldn't get much craic out of them. The food is very nice and seems good value but you'll need a few courses to fill you up. Great for most occasions - large or small groups of friends,...

The Long Hall Pub

mark sweeney posted a new review on The Long Hall Pub, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

One of my favourite pubs. It is a real old school pub with a fabulous bar, wonderful interior and atmospheric lighting. The pints and service are amongst the best in town. Its the type of place you come for a chat and some creamy pints with friends and the day just seems to drift by. Its a great...

The Long Hall Pub

Richard Cantwell posted a new review on The Long Hall Pub, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

Is this the trendiest pub in town? Nope. The cleanest? No. Cheapest? Not a ripoff, but there are cheaper places. Best place to watch the match? There's no TV. Hear some music? No muzak either, just conversation. And it's better for all of that. Usually an interesting crowd, no-nonsense barmen...

Cafe Boulevard

Nigel D'Arcy posted a new review on Cafe Boulevard, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

This is a non-chain establishment.Coffee and scone for €2.50 and full breakfast for €6.50 , with variations in-between (yummy pancakes!)are tasty and although not the cheapest, represent reasonable value for money for waiter/waitress service. A bright and cheerful cafe, with great...

Kehoes

Yvonne Shields posted a new review on Kehoes, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

This is a great pub with a wonderful atmosphere. Watch out after work as it fills up with Suits in for a bevvy on the way home. This is particularly true on Thursday and Friday nights. I love the way people spill out onto the streets from this pub and drink away on the street. It looks very...

Ryanair Customer Service

Lynsey Clayton posted a new review on Ryanair Customer Service, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

I actually think that staff training was cut in the Ryanair budget - probably to save having to charge for using the toilets!! I know it's a cheap airline, but manners really don't cost anything. I wouldn't mind paying so little if at least was served by a happy flight attendant or check in...

Bijou Restaurant

Marion fitzpatrick posted a new review on Bijou Restaurant, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

This is a truly lovey, homely restaurant. The food is first class. The atmosphere is so homely. The smoking area upstairs is so cool. The staff are very attentive. Try the crab cakes, they are delicious as are the deserts.

Ryanair Customer Service

Nigel D'Arcy posted a new review on Ryanair Customer Service, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

I rate the airline itself as good, because it is a cheap low cost carrier. However, they make no bones about their lack of customer service, and if you fly with them , it will be strictly on their terms, otherwise don't bother!. At check in , they will charge you a hefty fee for each kg baggage...

Diep Le Shaker

Nigel D'Arcy posted a new review on Diep Le Shaker, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

The set lunch , with two main course options , is good value at €12.50- it all comes out-starter , main course with the rice side-dish , and dessert all one large well-presented platter. Really tasty stuff, well prepared, but if you one is ravenous going in , the set dish may not be adequate...

love this pub, in the center of town but has the greatest 'old man bar' feeling, especially if you lucky enough to get itno teh snug where a stuff fox stares at you while you sip on a lovely pint of teh black stuff...great place for a pre-saturady night drink or a fine sunday afternoon rant about...

ok whats there not love to love about the Long Hall, great place, old city pub charm, poors a fine guiness any day of the week, probably best enjoyed on a sunday afternoon, and then on those cold days or evenings which we seem to be emersed in at the moment the barman will be happy to make a lovely...

Gruel

Cathal C posted a new review on Gruel, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

Gruel is alright, but not necessarily as good as people make it out to be. It wouldn't be that often that I'd go for lunch along Dame St, but gruel is one of the better spots. The food is kind of simple and hearty - roast in a roll would be what I go for. So it is quite a nice spot for...

Gruel

Joanna Barry posted a new review on Gruel, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

People forget about Gruel despite it being a fantastic place to eat. It's been around for 9 years and I still know lots of people who haven't been there. Why? Amazing food and fabulous staff (they can be a bit moody, but shake it off, the food is worth it) The menus is nothing fancy instead...

Sugar Club The

Joanna Barry posted a new review on Sugar Club The, that Tom Hayes also reviewed

I've always had a great night out here. Pretty much like walking into a cinema, the sugar club is a fantastic venue for everything from cinema and theatre to live music and dancing. It's dimly-lit and set out like a cinema, with a stage in front of the screen Club nights are also ideally suited,...
