ZAO

hugh maguire posted a new review on ZAO, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Its location is a bit out of the way - upstairs in a section of the Omni Centre near Eddie Rockets. It's a decent asian restaurant which has built up a good reputation with locals. Have been here a few times and the staff really make you feel welcome. Have found that they have gone out of their way...

Pravda

hugh maguire posted a new review on Pravda, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Pravda is just across from the Hapenny Bridge and is one of the better themed bars that arrived during the Celtic Tiger. Its a Russian themed bar with loads of posters and fittings from the soviet era. The food in here has always been one of their strongpoints - their bowls of jumbo wings are...

Old Stand The

hugh maguire posted a new review on Old Stand The, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Located at the corner exchequer Street, Th Old Stand is well known and loved by Dublin pubgoers. Its a real traditional pub thats kept up with the times without losing any of it's old world atmosphere. The place is always hopping on match days . Have eaten in here many a lunch hour and their food...

Clontarf Castle Hotel

Sue O'B posted a new review on Clontarf Castle Hotel, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Been at weddings and Christmas parties here and also at various meals and just dropped in for business meetings, coffee. Its good all round and suited to all sorts of events. The only thing I havnt done is to actually stay there! Location is very good and general service and ambience excellent.

St Stephens Green Shopping Centre

Sue O'B posted a new review on St Stephens Green Shopping Centre, that mark sweeney also reviewed

I love the architecture of this centre with its big dome and wide aisles. Its a great meeting point and attracts lots of visitors. I love the gallery at the top and it is great for affordable art. It would be great to see more reasons to visit the upper floors (than a visit to the loos!) with more...

Dublin Airport

Jamie Donnelly posted a new review on Dublin Airport, that mark sweeney also reviewed

As for as I and airports are concerned, my simple aim is to get on the plane and off again at my destination. I don't pay particularly much attention to airport shopping, which I generally find very expensive. At Dublin airport, I used to wonder why the queues took so long to move, but these years...

Dublin Airport

Jenny Murphy posted a new review on Dublin Airport, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Dublin Airport is a far cry from what it once was. I remember as a child waiting for my sister to arrive home from London on a flight that would invariably be delayed and that there was nothing to do or see anwyehere in the place. Well that is certainly different now. The food and drink is still...

Bruxelles

Niall Doherty posted a new review on Bruxelles, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Nice spot to stop for a few beers after work. Sat outside and mostly enjoyed experience except for random homeless people hassling us for 'money for a hostel'. This happened about three times per hour. Waiter was Australian, would have been nice to have an Irish person serving seeing as so many...

Phantom 105.2

hugh maguire posted a new review on Phantom 105.2, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Has emerged from its pirate past and developed into the best pound for pound music station in the capital. Plays a bit of everything you won't hear on the other stations, mainly alternative and indie in nature. Has the coolest show for a hangover on Sundays - coming down with Pearl - love it!...

Arnotts

hugh maguire posted a new review on Arnotts, that mark sweeney also reviewed

There are a lot of rumours floating about at the minute in relation to the its precarious position in relation to the banks, just hope to god that there all unfounded cos I'd hate to see store going by the wayside. Its part of Dublin. Theres everything in here - the best sports section in any...

TK Maxx - Blanchardstown

hugh maguire posted a new review on TK Maxx - Blanchardstown, that mark sweeney also reviewed

I have to admit that while I still occassionally use Tk Maxx - mainly cos the girlfriend loves the place and always drags me in ,I'm not bits biggest fan. OK you can pick up the odd bargain but its mainly rail after rail of seconds or ends of line that didn't sell. Store is big but its a bit...

Cat and Cage Bar

hugh maguire posted a new review on Cat and Cage Bar, that mark sweeney also reviewed

The Cat and Cage is one of those landmark pubs that used to be really popular but for whatever reason hasn't really managed to attract a new crowd. Should be a goldmine because of its location but its dead most of the time. Its ok if you want to catch a match with a few mates but for food or a...

Shebeen Chic

hugh maguire posted a new review on Shebeen Chic, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Shebeen chic is one of the newer additions to sth Great Georges Street. It's a haphazard, quirky, unique, shabby chic kind of place. Might not be everybodys cup of tea but I have to say I like it. The food is really good and not too expensive. always something different on every night. They even...

Marlay Park

Jamie Donnelly posted a new review on Marlay Park, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Marlay Park is gigantic and very old, but always full of activity. Though I never go to watch gigs at Marlay Park, I do like visiting the farmers' market, which always provides for sale some good organic, domestic and forein products. The main foods sold include bread, fish, pastries,...

Harlequin

Jamie Donnelly posted a new review on Harlequin, that mark sweeney also reviewed

The Harlequin is primarily a retro-style second-hand shop, so it's best to expect that the clothes there would be a little more raggedy and colourful than those in most shops today. There are two sections - a mens' section downstairs and a womens' section on the ground floor and upstairs. It's...

Marks & Spencer Food Hall

Jamie Donnelly posted a new review on Marks & Spencer Food Hall, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Though I very rarely stop by Marks and Spencers on Grafton Street, the few times I do, I generally take my time and sit down on one of the seats overlooking the street; generally, I find that Marks and Spencers can be expensive at times, but their products are normally well worth it - an occasional...

Dice Bar

hugh maguire posted a new review on Dice Bar, that mark sweeney also reviewed

The Dice Bar is a little off the beaten track, its situated on the Corner of Queen Street and Benburb Street, on the Northside of the city. Theres a grungy cool kinda feel to the place , with a diverse and friendly crowd. The atmosphere is always relaxed and easy going. The music is really...

The Winding Stair Restaurant

Aishling M posted a new review on The Winding Stair Restaurant, that mark sweeney also reviewed

Really like this place. Been on a few dates here. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the service is great. Food is excellent - good range, well prepared, really tasty. Lovely wine and the staff are helpful when advising without telling you to get the most expensive! It is a pity it's...

Cobblestone Bar

Charlotte H posted a new review on Cobblestone Bar, that mark sweeney also reviewed

I had the pleasure of experiencing my Arthur's Day pint of the black stuff in this quaint little pub crowning Smitihfield Square, what better place? The fact that this is one of the only pubs in the city that genuinely enjoys the traditional Irish music scene, without the alluring facade that...

Cobblestone Bar

hugh maguire posted a new review on Cobblestone Bar, that mark sweeney also reviewed
