Beautiful setting and hotel

Have only ever met friends here for afternoon tea when they stayed there recently.
They were staying 3 nights for an anniversary and were very impressed by the food, service and location and its proximity to the city.
Although I had never been there before I was always curious to see what the fuss was about as you normally hear people speak in hushed tones about the Manor and so it was great that I could at least go and see it and experience the atmosphere from inside.
I have to say it was a nice sunny day which made all the difference to the surroundings. I would not mind having an overnight stay there myself on some future occasion. It would be a real treat. Our friends certainly intend going back again for a stay in the future.
