I only go into this spar if I really have to; find the whole experience a bit off putting, as once you get past the felty path at front door and push through the dirty handle, you eventually face a rather bleak looking crossiant stand, where the produce looks like it's been there for years. The whole store is crampted and I'd disagree with louis in that the magazine selection is adequate but nothing like that of Spar in Stillogran, which is miles ahead on every front. The staff here don't smile either!

I agree that the lay out and the aesthetics of this shop won't win it any national titles, However they always have all the newspapers in stock...i've yet to be let down. As regards staff not smiling - that may be the case for one or two staff members, but there's usually a very friendly gentleman behind the counter. All in all, its a place to buy a newspaper and a bottle of pop...
