Great Cinema

The Irish Film Institute in City Centre definitely isn't your conventional spot to watch a film (in fact, it's very, very different!) With no massive stalls with overpriced drinks and sweets, no confectionery stands and no long walks to the screens, The Irish Film Institute definitely has a much different atmosphere to that of a conventional cinema. With several places to eat and a bookshop right by the spot at which they sell the tickets, you can spend a while relaxing browsing before going in to watch any of the films.

The fims to see generally include more obscure releases as well as the expected ones, so you'll always have a choice between the more commercially successful ones and the more low-budget ones which aren't neccesarily designed to meet the palate of a discerning public. The prices of tickets are standard and the screens are easy to get to, so overall a great cinema.
