Great Health Shop

Holland and Barretts' is a health shop to be found on Grafton Street, halfway between St. Stephen's Green and Trinity College. This is a shop that I've found useful for years, being the place I'd stop into to buy a top-up of energy while I walked from Rathmines to Eden Quay to get the 53 out East Wall Road, where the studios of 103.2 Dublin City FM are to be found (I used to do a show there).
Being a health shop, the products there are of a more savoury nature and plenty of them are based on whole grains. The confectionery is of a closer nature to actual fruit and some of it is made using only fructose. There are protein supplements for body-building and exercise as well, though I never avail of them. The prices are good, affordable bearing in mind the less industrial nature of the produce.
