Lovely hotel in Cork for a treat

My husband and I stayed at the Hayfield Manor in Cork during our "babymoon", and it was absolutely lovely. It's very well located, within walking distance of the centre of Cork and all the sights, but far enough away that it feels peaceful and secluded. The hotel itself is old-fashioned and elegant, the rooms are comfortable and cozy and the spa and pool area, with an outdoor jacuzzi, is absolutely wonderful. They were able to organise a pregnancy massage for me during our stay, and it was simply heaven, relaxing and invigorating. The restaurant is top-notch for both breakfast and dinner, and the service was excellent in all respects.
Hayfield Manor is a little on the pricey side, so it's not somewhere we'd be able to go often. You can save some money with it if you book online (I think we used lastminute.com) The cost is definitely worth it though, we have very happy memories f our babymoon there, and would definitely stay again next time we're in Cork.
