In the end it wasn't unanimous but the Long Hall shares the honours as best pint in Dublin. When you go to the Long Hall you are not just getting a pint you are getting an experience. (sounds like I am selling Coke...Cola that is...). The bar is beautifully ornate with lots of antique fittings - brass, mirrors, carved wood etc. and you really feel like you are stepping back in time. Couple this with the fact that it doesn't get too jammed (at least last Friday it was reasonably quiet) and throw in a top class pint and you are in business. Temperature was excellent, no tang in the taste and the creamy head left nice rings all the way to the bottom of the glass.
Tom would recommend. Tom would use again.
