Off licence of the Year 2009

So it says on a label in front window, this wine shop has scoped the alcolade of best off licience 2009. Had a lovely meal last night in terenure. Not content with the wine we drank at the meal, we needed more. Going through rathgar villlage we just about made the Vintry before closing time of 10pm.
This is a wine shop, pure and simple, with some whiskey thrown in. First thing you'll note is the saw dust on the stone floor which is a nice touch. I suppose to bring a bit of authenticity to the place. The region labels were a bit hard to see at first. Your not going to find your Jacob creek rubbish here, only the finest of wines:-) I could see they had a nice selection of top wines from each of the french regions. In the end we settled on a nice Sicilian wine.....
