Oily surface.

I used Quickpark again this week. Booked on line and was given the usual code to acess the park through the barrier. It took me several attempts to make this booking on line as the system kept charging me for a months stay when it fact it was for less than a week. I was careful to double check the dates that I input but it still kept charging me a higher fee. After about four attempts I was able to get the correct fee. I noticed when I arrived at the car park that the surface was dirtier than normal. It looked as if there was a lot of oil mixed in with the ash and pebble surface. After you park your car you have to carry your case to the nearest bus stop because the ground surface is so bad. This means you have to be doubly careful not to let your suitcase whels brush off your trouser leg or you cold end up with a nasty oily stain. I see that they have purchased some adjacent land to their existing park and it is now a huge area. There was a time when this car park would be bursting at the seams. Not so when I was there, it was pretty empty. On the way back the bus driver kindly stopped the bus at our bay number rather than at the bus stop which was a nice touch. Considering the fee that we pay to park I think that Quickpark needs to put down a bit of tarmacadam on the surface.
Ballot Box would recommend. Ballot Box would use again.

You would be better off booking the crowne plaza. They have a multi storey car park amd you can go in for a cup of tea in the lobby of the jotel if you want.
