Bad patios. We fix them.

Most of the work we get called out to starts the same way. Someone’s had a patio laid, the slabs have moved, water’s pooling in places it shouldn’t be, and the whole thing needs pulling up and starting again. Relaying sunken slabs is probably a quarter of our workload, and it’s almost always down to poor sub-base preparation first time around.

We do things properly from the ground up. That means digging out to the right depth, getting the MOT Type 1 compacted correctly, and laying to falls so drainage actually works. It’s not complicated, but it does need to be done right.

And we source good material. We know what decent stock looks like, the same eye you’d use walking into a merchants like Chadwicks, checking the calibration on a stone before you commit to a pallet.

More than just paving

Patio work rarely comes on its own. Most customers want the full garden sorting at the same time, which suits us fine.

• Garden walling, block and brick
• Timber fencing, new runs and replacements
• Garden paths tying into the main patio area

We work across CM postcodes and into the surrounding areas. Most jobs take a few days. A larger garden with walling, fencing and a full patio can run to a week or more, however straightforward the plan looks on paper. It always takes longer than you expect. That’s just the nature of it.
