What We Do

From the ground up, that is genuinely where every job starts for us. We lay patios, build garden walls, install fencing, and put down turf and artificial grass across Rathcoole and the surrounding area. The groundwork comes before anything else.

Base preparation is not something we cut corners on. We dig out properly, compact in layers, and get the sub-base right before a single slab goes down. Rush that stage and the whole thing moves. We have seen enough failed patios (most of them done by others) to know exactly what goes wrong when compaction is skipped.

Materials We Work With

We carry and install a solid range of paving options:

• Indian sandstone, in a variety of colours and finishes
• Porcelain paving, low-maintenance and hard-wearing
• Granite slabbing, good weight and texture underfoot
• Limestone patio flags, classic look that suits older properties
• Concrete garden paving where budget is the priority

Each material has its own bedding requirements, and we mix and lay accordingly. Porcelain, for instance, needs a full bed, not a spot bed. We source a lot of our materials locally, often running collections through the South Dublin County Council depot on Fortunestown Road, which keeps lead times tight.

Other Work We Cover

It is not just slabbing. We do bricklaying for raised beds and boundary walls, wooden fencing to whatever height planning allows, and both real and artificial grass installation. Older gardens with drainage issues are actually some of our favourite jobs to sort out. There is a lot of satisfaction in handing back a garden that finally drains the way it should.

We are based in Rathcoole. Most of our work is in the immediate area, though we do take on jobs nearby depending on the scope.
